Our house is a small piece of countryside in the middle of the city. In fact, the neighborhood of St. Nicholas is one of the most charming and characteristic of Florence. The house is located below piazzale Michelangelo and very close to one of the most beautiful churches in Florence: San Miniato.
Our house is two minutes from the embankment, five minutes from Old Bridge, 10 minutes from the Duomo.
From the train station you can easily reach us with the bus 23. In the district, there are very nice and well attended galleries, fine restaurants, bars, night clubs.
This is a quiet neighborhood between the river Arno and the green hills.
In the near by area there is one of the most beautiful gardens with a special view of Florence called garden roses with an interesting permanent exhibition of Folon. We offer a bright room with views of San Miniato, guest bathroom and separate entrance, kitchen and the opportunity to share with us the living space. In the garden there is a beautiful dining table and many corners to relax especially in good weather. We have wireless and there is the possibility to use the washing machine.
if you have your car there is a free parking near our home, at your convenience.
Also lives with us two beautiful and very sweet dogs: Lana and Poldo.
we wait for youuuuuuuuu !!!!

The stay at Edi's place was very nice. She is a great host and along with Delphine who is also staying there they are very kind and helpfull. The garden and the dogs were also great.
the neighborhood is very nice and cosy near gardens. After the hsutle and bustle of the center town it is nice to chill in her house and neghborhood;
I highly recommend Edi Trovato's home and I'm thankful for her hospitality and kindness .
The room is spacious and bright and there is a beautiful garden in the backyard.
Thanks for the days spent in your home .
Edi's place was wonderful. A nice off-the-beaten path apartment (but still very accessible), the lush backyard and setting south of the Arno was perfect for my girlfriend and I. We walked all over the city for three days. You have your own entrance and bathroom. Edi was extremely friendly and helpful finding local spots to dine and wine. Also, we loved Lana and Pauldo (Edi's two dogs). Would absolutley stay here again if I return to Florence. Thanks a bunch!
Un weekend bellissimo in un posto cosi rilassante!! La camera è calda e accogliente e hai tutto a tua disposizione...e tutta firenze a due passi di distanza!!
Edi's place is wonderful! Super close to the city and everything is walkable. It's nice and cozy and the place has pretty decorations and a nice garden. There is a great pizza place that is very cheap right next to her place and many stores close by. The place is 2 minute walk from the river! Its got good heating and the room and bathroom for guests is very clean. Edi is very nice and her dogs are super gorgeous and charming (although if you have a really big problem with dogs then don't stay here, otherwise her dogs a wonderful!) Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for any single travelers or couples! Thanks edi!
I with my girlfriend spent very good 3 days at Edi’s apartment.
Everything was great. Edi is very benevolent, hospitable and responsible host, her advises were very useful.
Apartments is very clean and comfortable, has big and convenient bed, nice garden at outdoor space.
Location is very good. It is very close to historical center and Piazza San Spirito (the heart of Firenze nightlife).
Edi's place is a wonderful hidden treasure in a quite and green part of Florence, a bit tricky to find especially if you don't have a proper map like me! Don't trust the locals, they will send you to all directions, I ended up at the top of the hill pretty much by Porta di San Giorgio and realised that her flat is actually on the bottom, although the view was stunning and walking along the olive trees was something I didn't expect especially since you are still pretty much in the centre of Florence! So, no harm there. I was welcomed by Edi and her 2 lovely dogs. The room and the flat is very cosy, she is totally cool and very accommodating, I would certainly reconsider this place on my next visit. Also, there are some really nice wine bars and cafes nearby and away from the main crowd of tourists, well worth checking out!
My girlfriend and I spent two wonderful nights at Edi's place, the house is just ten minutes away from the city centre and located in a very nice area (and not too full of tourists)!
We suggest the same experience to everyone!
My boyfriend and I were at Edi's place over Christmas just a week ago and we had a great 3 nights spent in Florence! Edi was a really friendly host and her apartment was very nicely decorated and quaint. Though the toilet was a little small, it was well-equipped and very clean when we arrived. She also provides a boiler in the room with tea bags and sugar, and travel guides for Florence and Italy. Edi also trusted us with her house and kitchen even though she was away for Christmas, which was really rare but very nice of her! We managed to whip up a decent meal for Christmas and it was a lovely setting cause her living room was beautifully decorated (:
