Other Things to Note
In Rome is required to pay the tourist tax that must be paid on arrival, € 3,50 per person per night up to a maximum of ten nights. Children under ten years old do not pay.
The house rules are simple: those of civilized life. My home welcomes you with warmth to make your stay as pleasant as possible and only asks to receive the same attention
This apartment is indeed in a great location within walking distance of most of the attractions we planned to see. Its large and clean, well appointed and really had everything we needed.
The stairs were a bit steep for our young children (3 and 6) and the space is a little dark, but it worked out really well for our stay because we were out most of the day.
Bring a cheap wifi range extender if you plan to connect upstairs because the router only works if you are close to it.
Patrizia was waiting for us when we arrived and quickly got us settled.
The apartment is so conveniently located! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We could walk to any of the main destinations from there. Piazza Navona is a wonderful area!
We travelled 4 people from Sweden , and we are very pleased with the host Patrizia . Clean and nice apartement. The location was perfect , and nice cosy reastaurants in the street. There was also a irish pub only a 100 meters away. If you like beer and watching soccer. The restaurang across the street ,Mimmi e Coco was really good with nice food and great service. Jonas and Stine , Per&Maria
the flat is perfectly located, near piazza navona and the host is nice. the flat is big enough for 4 people, very clean. very good stay in the beautiful city of Roma!
A real find! A great location!!
After spending hours on the internet we found your apartment , being indeed very near to Piazza Navone and Pantheon and all nice little streets. It is on Via del Governo Vecchio, a cheerfull little street full of nice little places to dine or have a drink at in the evening. And with a small Carrefour Express to do some shopping for breakfast.
It is not quiet, but lively. People enjoying themselves eating and drinking ourtside in the end of October. Fun!
One evening we dined in the street at Cantina& Cucina. Very good withe perfect atmosphere.
Patrizia arranged for us a transfer. The driver was at the airport on time and so was Patrizia, meeting us in the apartment, which was very nice after spending some time on the phone and by email. She is a very kind person showing us the apartment, which was very clean!
That the pictures are taken with a fish-eye lens is normal at these advertisments, so downstairs is smaller than we thought. It is a bit strange that there are no windows downstairs, but no problem for us. Upstairs enough space with 2 big bedrooms which is a big advantage, because a lot of apartments are advertised as having 2 bedrooms which they have not. That is forms a part of a very old building is very nice: it is nearly a must in old Rome...
The only thing I would suggest Patrizia to change is the simple shower hose as we had to keep it in in the hand when showering. Enough warm water.
So in short : we hope to come back in the future.
Staying at Patrizia's apartment helped enhanced our experience in Rome in a positive way. It's located just few steps away from Piatza Navona, which is a landmark not to be missed, and the area itself is full of authentic trattorias, cafes, gelaterias, groceries and bakeries.
The apartment is a piece of art itself. Very large in space, wooden ceilings, parquet floors in bedrooms, tiling is shiny clean, bathrooms are in excellent condition, the kitchen, although we haven't cooked a single meal, appeared to be equiped with all necessary appliances. There is a large Dining table in the living room, and the view from every single window in the entire flat is just amazing since it's facing a vibrant street.
One thing that surprised us upon check-in, and we think it should've been mentioned in the AirBNB site, is that we had to pay Patrizia a tourism fee of 3.5 € for each adult per night, so that added up to 42€ for the whole stay, which Patrizia explained as a mandatory fee that would be directed to the city of Rome.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you Patrizia.

hello Abdulaziz, reading what you write I am sorry for you that it was not clear the requirement for tourists to pay the tourist tax in the City of Rome. If you look in the description, under the heading details because it is the only place where it can be put, it is written clearly everything related to the payment of the tourist tax. I hope now everything is clear.
