Great place to stay! We took our 13 year old and 4 of her friends as a birthday gift. Beach is walking distance, easy access to everything and Tim is a great resource. He made our stay comfortable and was available if we needed anything. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Our experience here was top notch. Tim made us feel very welcome and was very communicative from the beginning. I was planning to propose to my girlfriend that day and so I wanted a place near the Golden Gate park. The place is great, spacious, clean, and is perfect for couples or families. Tim left a bottle of bubbly in the fridge as he knew we would be celebrating that night. They also provided recommendations for local sights and dining, but were happy to give us privacy at the same time. Will be making this my go-to place in SF.
Tim was an absolutely great host. He provided great recommendations for delicious food near his flat, I would highly recommend The Pizza Place on Noriega street and the Beach Chalet. His flat was really nice and has a beautiful backyard section. Staying only one block from that beach was the best part, the pacific ocean is always beautiful.
This was the perfect place to stay during our trip to San Francisco! Spacious, clean, with all the comforts we needed. Very nice kitchen. Having 2 bathrooms was great, as we had our three teenagers with us. The backyard was adorable. We were 1 block from the beach, wonderful! There was a lovely café and the Muni train stop within 2 blocks, which made our exploration of the city very easy with public transit. A great deal to also have passes to the Exploratorium and California Academy of Sciences! Tim was a wonderful host, check in was very easy and he was available and responsive when needed. We will definitely stay here again when visiting SF and would recommend it to our friends. Thanks Tim!
Tim is one of the friendliest people I've met! He has a great system where the door is opened with a pin code rather than a key, which was super useful when you don't know exactly what time you're arriving.
Really spacious and clean rooms. Appreciated the coffee Tim had waiting for us when we arrived!
Location was great too - right by the beach. We hired the garage too and found the location great for driving into downtown San Francisco, but also up and down the coast.
Lovely quiet area that felt safe - we had lots of filming equipment with us so needed a place we felt was secure. This place certainly did the job!
Would definitely stay here again when in San Francisco!
We had an excellent stay at Tim's house. Tim was a terrific host, taking time telling us about San Francisco and giving us suggestions for kids friendly attractions; and took time gave us timely communications. We really appreciate that. The house is clean, and has easy access to the beach. Our two girls were absolutely enamored with the chickens in the backyard (They love the "mother"!). Will definitely recommend this to families traveling to San Francisco, especially those with kids.
Thanks so much! Please come back again! You have a wonderful family and such wonderful kids! I love hosting and it gives me great pleasure to learn that my guests had a wonderful time in our beautiful city. Please contact me if you are considering raising backyard chickens. I would love to share our experiences and be of any help to get you started! Email me if you want me to help plan your next trip up here!
Thanks again! And we look forward to your next visit!
Tim was an incredible host! We really enjoyed getting to know him and his family over the two months we stayed here. The place is beautiful, well situated if you are a nature person who also wants access to the city. We loved being close to Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park. (Added perk you can have bonfires on Ocean Beach). There are some really great brunch places nearby. The neighborhood felt safe. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
