  • Some friends and I stayed at Tim's 2-bedroom house because it was close to the starting line for a race. The location was perfect, close to the beach and close to plenty of great restaurants (we walked to Toyose for some Korean food and Eggettes for milk tea and desserts, which was less than a mile from their house).

Tim stocked the fridge with eggs and milk, and there was also peanut butter, jam, bread, and cereal if we got hungry. There was also board games and reliable wifi.

Our host met us to give us the key code and garage code, and we were able to get in and out of the house without worrying about keeping a key and returning it on time.

Comfortable and cute place. Thanks Tim for letting us stay!

  • Myself, my wife and our 2 small boys (aged 19 months and 3 months) stayed in this apartment for 4 nights and I have to say, the stay in the apartment really made our trip to the city. It's located in a safe area and only 1 block from a convenience store which is open late and stocks most things you would need. The apartment is only 2 blocks from the N-Judah Muni line which will take you into downtown in around 30 mins.

The apartment itself was perfect for us. Large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with plenty of spare towels and also the laundry facilities were very handy. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and everything you would need to prepare any kind of meal.

Contact with Tim was easy and also Paula, their houekeeper was on hand to meet us when we arrived, shwoing us around the apartment and was contactable at all times with any queries that we had.

We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of visiting San Fran!

  • We were very pleased with our stay at Tim and Monica's house. It was clean, well stocked, and very convenient to activities our kids enjoyed, such as the beach and Golden Gate Park. The house is at the western most section of SF, so it takes about 30 minutes to drive cross town to the piers, which will likely figure into others' decision.

The garage was very important to us, as parking in SF can be challenging, though it's important to note that a large car is a very tight squeeze, and doubt that an SUV would fit. Still it worked for us fine as long as we loaded and unloaded before pulling in / out.

There is a small garden in the back with a chicken coop, which I can't comment on adequately as the inclement weather prevented its enjoyment.

Finally, even though the owners were away, we were greeted upon arrival by someone who provided us with necessary information regarding the house and neighborhood.

  • We stayed at Tim and Monica's place for 4 nights and it was wonderful! It's located in a less crowded / visited part of San Francisco, but that is part of it's great charm. We had four adults, a 6-year old, and an 18-month old. The location made it very accessible to the beach as well as to the western part of Golden Gate Park. We waited for the shuttle at the park but, unfortunately, it never came. So we instead ended up seeing the windmills, tulip garden, and bison paddock -- things we didn't even know existed in the park!

The apartment itself is very clean and user-friendly, if you will! The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. We also loved using the kitchen to eat in for breakfast and some dinners. There is also a garage for parking, which is *really* convenient. The kids also loved going out every morning to see if there were any chicken eggs (there were!)

Tim was also very good about contacting me from the beginning to the end. When we arrived, he called to make sure we didn't have any other questions. A very gracious host, who was also very accommodating to some of our reservation changes. A wonderful place to stay, if you're okay not being in the more touristy areas of SF!

  • A wonderful place to stay. The location is amazing, right along Ocean Beach, with easy access to the muni train. The house is cozy and has everything you'll need, including board games! (Something I can't say about many of the places I've stayed at through airbnb). Close by is amazing coffee at Java Beach, and I'd suggest Celia's for some great Mexican food and margaritas. I would not hesitate for a second to stay here again.
