Bright, fresh double room, plus own bathroom, in a modern apartment complex. Based in the "Old City" area of Dublin all amenities and entertainment are right on your doorstep. Guests have access to the roof terrace and complex's courtyard.
This is the perfect base for your trip to Dublin.
The room is comfortable and clean and sleeps up to two people.
Guests have their own bathroom, with a bath/shower unit. Guests also have access to the living room, with comfortable seating and TV and HD Cable and the kitchen to prepare their own food and drinks.
Interaction with Guests
I live in the apartment. I work during the day, but not at weekends so I am in most evenings and weekends and would be delighted with your company if you are in the apartment. I am only too pleased to discuss and suggest what to see and do for your stay in Dublin, and hopefully add a little historical knowledge along the way!
The apartment is located in the "Old City" area of Temple Bar, (the part that is near enough to access the most famous, liveliest, part of town and yet just far enough away to be peaceful!)
The entire city is right on your doorstep. Most of the major attractions in Dublin are within easy walking distance; with Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, the River Liffey and Dublina only metres away.
As well as all the attractions you are surrounded by hundreds of restaurants and bars to suit every taste and pocket.
Dublin is a great city, with so much to be explored and discovered - and this is your perfect starting point!
The apartment is situated directly at one of the main bus stops for the AirLink bus which serves Dublin Airport.
The two major City Bus Tours have stops directly outside the apartment complex.
All major bus routes either run past or are within easy walking distance of the apartment.
Trams and trains (local and national) are also in walking distance.
And the apartment sits between two Dublin Bike stops where guests can hire bicycles to travel around the city.
Other Things to Note
I employ a flexible checking in and out to enable guests come and depart at times most suitable for them - however, this may mean at times the rooms is not always available when a guest arrives and also some guests may be asked to vacate the room earlier than their departure time - but in all cases the apartment will be available to guests.
On booking I will email you precise information about how to get to the apartment and I will be there to met you with the keys and show you around.
This is my home and I welcome guests who respect and take of my home and my belongings as if they were their own.
. There is no smoking anywhere in the apartment, even through the windows.
. The apartment complex's rules require noise to be kept to a minimum from 23hrs onwards, please respect this in the apartment also.
. No unregistered guests are allowed in the apartment.
. No parties.
Accidents happen, so if there are any breakages or damage please let me know immediately.
Thanks a million :)
We had a great stay in Simons appartment. Everything was very clean and exactly as we expected. Simon picked us up at the bus stop and showed us his appartment. We had our own bathroom and bedroom, and shared the livingroom and kitchen with Simon. Simon is also very nice and always wants to have a chat with his guests. The location was perfect, just outside temple bar and close to the shops and other touristic places.
We spent two nights at Simon's. From the booking process until our départure, he was perfect, always doing his best to help us.
The room and the bathroom are very clean. Simon provided fresh towels and sheets. A guidebook is in the room with a lot of adresses in Dublin.
Thank you Simon we enjoyed your place with a lot to see arround in Temple Bar !
The location of the apartment was great. Temple Bar can be a noisy area but Simon's apartment was tucked away and was very quiet. I got to Dublin late on a rainy evening and Simon met me at the bus stop across the street from his apartment. The room was very clean and I got a very professional vibe from Simon and his thorough guidebook. Simon was helpful and friendly in recommending places to eat, or even get a haircut.
Simon is a very friendly, kind and very helpful host. He helped us with everything. Every question had an answer. He also helped with one reservation and called on this question (because my English not so good). Simon is really very interesting man and I really love to talk to him.
The flat is very clean, it is well heated. In the kitchen you have everything you need. The location of the flat is perfect to: near Temple Bar and very close to the bus stops. So, thank you, Simon, for everything you did for us these days!
The reservation was canceled 89 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I had a great stay at Simon's home. There really couldn't be a better location: you're situated right in the heart of all the action but minus all the noise. As a bonus the airport bus stops steps away from the unit.
The room is clean, comfortable, and well stocked with brochures and information on the city. It's also nice to have your own bathroom.
Simon is a fantastic host - good communication and he's such a gentleman. He gave some really good recommendations on things to do around Dublin that really made my trip.
I highly recommend Simon as a host and his lovely home for your visit to Dublin.
Thanks to Simon , all the explanations we had were real , good and great!! The appartment is really in a strategie place , we arrive direct from the AirPort to the bus stop just near the appartment, and you walk less than 5 minutes and you are in Temple bar, the place to be and Go!
Thanks to Simon because he came and waited for us at the bus stop, and showed the appartment and the room , you have all you need , it's very clean , we forgot the irish plug, no soucy, Simon put 2 in the room!
You have a binder in the room with all you need to drink, to eat, to go out by night,to visit....Great!!!
We spent a very good week-end ,it was a little bit too short to appreciate more Dublin , so if we come back, we will surely come in Simon's house!
Thanks for all
