Private rm w/ 1 queen bed w/ private bath: 1 gated parking spot, WiFi, cable, access to kitchen & living area, walking distance to the train, Millennium, supermarket, restaurants. Pool/gym access in building. 1 train stop from universal studios.
1300 sq ft and all new furniture! Check out the new photos that are airbnb verified (check out the watermark). The apartment was seen and pictures taken by airbnb so you know exactly what your getting! This private room/bath/parking spot is located right in the heart of the NoHo arts district in a 1300 square foot apartment. Wake up with a view of the Hollywood Hills and walk to the train, Millennium Dance Studio, restaurants, bars, theatres, hike the nearby canyons, take a studio tour (Warner Brothers, universal, etc are less than 2 miles away!), or just browse and enjoy the artsy neighborhood. One thing I love to do is to go to the local coffee shop, Republic of Pie. They constantly have upcoming musicians perform daily. The train stop is just one stop north of Universal Studios and all it has to offer. If you feel like staying in, which is doubtful with all there is to do you can watch the mounted flat panel LCD with all the cable you could want with HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc. or just browse around on the free high speed wireless internet I have. Dirty clothes....we got you covered with a washer and dryer in the apartment. Need to swim... we got a pool! Need a workout... we got a gym! Need pointers on what to do...you got me! Also for international travelers, if you forgot your international power converter, I have one that you can use in your room.
full access living room, dining room, kitchen, pool, gym, and parking garage
Interaction with Guests
I help give pointers on the area when needed. If you need help on what to do and whats the best way to do or go there just ask. Meeting everyone from everywhere is what the airbnb experience was meant to be!
The NoHo Arts District is a one-square-mile community in North Hollywood that is home to more than 20 live, professional theatres, dance studios, art galleries, public art, music recording venues, acting and art workshops, international dining options, clothing and specialty shops, and businesses that create a myriad of art forms. NoHo is "Where the Arts Are Made."..... so much live entertainment .. and plenty of acting and dance schools. Close walk to millennium and movement for the dancers. If you're a serious dancer you know those are the places to study at.
the red metro is less then a ten min walk very easy to find, access your car from a private gated parking spot, or walk to any one of the great places mentioned! we also suggest using a phone app called uber
Ever heard of Uber? It’s like a cab, but way better — no cash necessary! Just click the link or use my code — kl0zv — to sign up and get your first ride free (up to $30)
Other Things to Note
I'm a Super Host! Depending on availability, if you need transport to/from the airport we have a friend that may be able to provide transportation for our guests for a small fee since Uber pickup at the airport is hard to do. Just ask me and I can provide more details. Also, if you need a metro card to use the train just ask and I can let you borrow one or two, they usually charge a dollar for them but every little bit helps!
the golden rule.. treat others how you would like to be treated .
We didn't meet Laura but she was very helpful all the way leading up to our arrival, even from a distance. Her friend met us to let us in and everything was as described. We only needed a bed to sleep and a shower for the 1 night before heading south the next day. Was a comfy and cosy place to stay and would love to come back and stay longer if we're back out that way :)
Our stay here was a pleasant one. We were there for a week. We arrived very late the first night (3am) after our long trip but were able to make arrangements so that keys were available to us so we could still get in. The place is very spacious, luxurious and clean. The wifi was fantastic. They left a folder out with personal contact info, different flyers and maps to help visitors out who were not familiar with the area. There were dvds of the most recent movies, magazines and many bottles of water left and snacks for us in the apartment. There was a secured parking space for our rental car. Pillows and beds were very comfortable. There was an extra bed to accommodate both people in separate beds. It also had access to a swimming pool and a small gym which we did not have time to take advantage of. Although there was another person staying in one of the 2 bedrooms of the apartment at the same time we were there, this person was not there often, was very pleasant when she was and did not disturb us. I should mention that the location is pretty good as well with nearby access to a few freeways. We did our best to keep it clean and not leave a mess during our stay and after we left. Thank you very much for sharing your space and for your hospitality! :)
Laura is very great host. Laura's home is very beautiful and very convenient. I and my girlfriend stayed for 5 days and had a great time!
Laura's place is SUPER nice. It looks exactly the same as the pictures posted in AirBnB website. I really wish i have an apartment like this! Her place is at a convenient location. Laura is a very good host, she cared about my need during my stay. She gave good suggestions of the places I can look around. I had a super good time in Noho! Highly recommended!
Laura is a very very nice host. Her home is comfortable that I think I'm back home. I have a excellent experience in Laura's home. If I will come back U.S. I would like to stay in her home again~ Laura is a good host and good friend.
Laura was very welcoming. The neighborhood is good. The parking lot looks safe and the place is clean and just the way it looks in the pictures.
Laura was a very friendly and helpful host. She gave us good information about the area she's in (NoHo). Her place was very clean and lived up to all the pictures. She had the bathroom well stocked for us. I loved having my own fob for the underground garage parking with a dedicated parking space. It made coming and going very quick and convenient.
We were able to drive to EVERYTHING we could possibly need in 5-10 minutes, except the beach which is of course further. For the business I had to do in Hollywood and Burbank, NoHo was a perfect in between spot. While I was working, my wife walked to the train station (I think 7 blocks) and was able to get to many parts of the LA metro area very efficiently.
I also like that there's a park not far away that I was able to go to and run. There are tennis courts there also.
I travel to LA several times a year and I hope my schedule works out that her place is available for my next trip to LA.
