Moose Point Lodge is our newest destination, featuring a wilderness cabin in the heart of Maine's 100-Mile Wilderness with easy access to the Appalachian Trail.

Ski-In / Snowmobile access ONLY! No Snowmobiles

Perfect all-season destination for hiking, biking, paddling, hunting, skiing, or snowshoeing. End the day with s'mores at the fire pit.

The cabin can host up to 7 guests and 2 dogs. Wood heating, propane lighting, and a kitchen with all of the essentials are provided to guests.

The space
The cabin accommodates up to 7 guests and 2 dogs (fee). The first bedroom has a double bed and twin bed. The second bedroom has a double bed. The common room has a futon couch that pulls out into a double bed. Mattresses, one wool blanket per bed and pillows with fresh cases are provided. Guests should plan to bring a sleeping bag or linen. An extra blanket is recommended for cool Maine nights.

An outside privy serves as the toilet, year-round. There is no bathroom or running water in the cabin.

A screened-in porch runs the width of the cabin and overlooks the lake.

The kitchen includes a propane refrigerator, a propane cook stove with oven and all pots, pans, plate ware and flatware for 7 guests. The sink can be used in conjunction with a jug with a spigot. There is no faucet and thus no running water in the cabin. A propane grill is available for grilling – located on the screened in porch.

Moose point cabin provides solitude, quiet and is truly remote. Loons call on the lake as soon as the ice is out. Please be prepared to be self-sufficient as the nearest help is 1.2 miles away via car (at Gorman Chairback Lodge). The nearest hospital is a 16.5 mile drive along gravel roads (Greenville).
