It is mostly quite, secluded, cozy place. Great for northern lights viewing over the pond. House outside light comes on for breakfast .there is rainbow trout in the 4.75 acre pond.rental of fishing pole available.

We are located in the Interior of Alaska. 4 miles from the City of North Pole, and 9 miles from Fairbanks. Right off the Richardson Hwy. The road to everywhere.

have been running this log cabin camp out of chicken Alaska for 6 years have Been suction dredging for gold for 15 years used too live in the brooks range for 13 years guiding hunting trapping, fishing ,rafting, hiking trips. Built log cabins in yard and made bevel siding with sawmill for 10 years here in yard.Had a year down in Kodiak commercial fishing. My favorite destination is Alaska . I think you could spend a lifetime trying to see all of Alaska.still love chasing gold, haven't got to do much fishing down at valdezor whittier need to do that more off my boat.and havn't killed a moose in a long time,way over do.i love everything Alaska has to offer!! Did get a fishing trip down to Whittier for shrimp and halibut this last spring!! And I did purchase a new delux Ice Castle fishing house and it is setting on Birch lake. Nothing can begin to describe it. The first and only. Try this amazing experience!!
