Wake up to the sound of the creek, birds, plenty deer and horses - This is not country style, this is Country

Located on San Julian Creek approx 4 miles from Bandera you will enjoy secluded beautiful nature, stroll around, cool down in the creek or hang out with the horses. Large social area, BBQ and patio.

This is as much country side you can wish for, in the middle of horse pasture, quiet and secluded

Internet, but no cable TV

The space
At the end of the road, past the water crossing (not suitable for extra low sports cars) you find a house underneath giant trees with lovely shade. Fenced in backyard, with furniture on patio and of course a BBQ. Peace and quiet and view of grazing horses

House has own water well, and as all places in hill Country the water is very hard and sometimes produce a smell of sulphate. The new water system produces drinking water that is to be found in the kitchen in a small tap

Guest access
Creek, house and yard. All guests are welcome to meet the horses, but please do not enter pasture without owners permission. Anyone that wants are welcome to the barn to help out and learn about horses. Booking rides is also possible at www.banderahistoricalrides.com

For me, its all about the rescue horses we have on the property. We offer different packages to with Riding, Lessons, Horsemanship and Mental Wellness programs with these horses. And we are very happy to show all our overnight guests around and let you meet the horses.
