Blessington offers a host of shops, cafes, restaurants and music bars.
A beautiful and peaceful place to spend some time.Beautiful views of the Wicklow mountains. You can also choose to drive or cycle around the lakes and there are a few pubs etc to stop in for lunch. You can canoe, sail, kayak and windsurf on the lake or take it easy by having a walk along the shore. The Dublin Metropolitan Regatta is held on the Lake in early June of each year and is always worth a look. It is also a great place for a picnic.Park in Valleymount car park - the walk along the lake on the sandy beach is great.
The Blessington Lakes are beautiful and only a 15 minute walk away. The Wicklow mountains are also fantastic to explore.

The no.700, 747 or 16 bus will take you to dublin city. Dublin Bus provides a no.65 Bus which serves Blessington from Dublin city centre.

Start out on Dublin Airport
Continue forward onto Corballis Road North
At Airport Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M1 SPUR
(signposted Dublin, Belfast M1)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit, then join the M1 motorway
Leave the M1 at junction 1, then join the M50 motorway
(signposted Other Routes, Southbound)
At Junction 6 continue forward onto the M50 toll motorway
(signposted Southbound - Toll)
M50 Toll (eFlow - barrier-free tolling system)
Leave the M50 at junction 11, Tallaght, then take right-hand lanes,
Take N81 towards Blessington
Continue onto N81 to Blessington town.
Drive through Blessington town, at top of town take the right turn towards Naas/ Punchestown,
Turn right at the roundabout into Deerpark Estate (3rd estate on right) 1st left into Deerpark Rd, 1st left into Deerpark View & 2nd left into Deerpark Walk,Blessington
Free parking is provided at the house.
