Check In
  • Lovely, quite center located apartment. Clean, renovated with a very good host.
Famous opened market and park is just 2 min walk. We would like to stay here at any time we are in Amsterdam.

  • By far the best apartment we have stayed in, we haven't felt so much at home as we did during our time in Anand's place. He provided us with plenty of soaps, shampoo and towels just like a hotel. The apartment was incredibly clean, the bathroom was amazing, the kitchen was set up for any cooking you might want to do. The Nespresso maker was a total bonus. His movie collection was great if you need to spend a night at home, and the roof deck provided the most stunning sunset views any evening we were home. The De Pijp area was the place to be; away from all the tourists, surrounded by some great restaurants and right by a tram stop. Can't wait to come back to Amsterdam, and hope to stay here again!

  • What can I add? All the great reviews about Anand and his place are absolutely true. Obviously the apartment is fantastic. But we really appreciated the small things that Anand did. Things like having some drinks in the fridge and small snacks. We arrived late in the day after flying all day. So that extra touch was appreciated. His own personal list of local restaurants was also very helpful.

Just one note of caution if you have mobility issues. The stairs, as noted previously, are very steep.

  • This apartment was really fantastic, and it was a pleasure working with Anand. His apartment was clean, centrally located, and had excellent amenities, like the fantastic roof deck. Anand went out of his way to make us feel at home, like having wine and snacks there when we arrived, shampoo and conditioner, and guidebooks of Amsterdam. The surrounding neighborhood was very cool/quirky, and had tons of interesting, unique shops and restaurants to explore. We can't wait for another chance to return!

  • Anand met us at the door and helped carry our suitcases up to his apartment. His introduction to the apt. and written procedures were thorough, and the tips about restaurants and features of the great neighborhood were appreciated. Loved the roof terrace - wish the weather had allowed us to spend more time up there.
His place is very comfortable and spacious, especially after our tiny place in Paris! Enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and the waffle treats. We would love to stay at Anand's again, if we return to Amsterdam.

  • Anand was a perfect host; everything in the apartment was exactly as pictured in the ad. We had every convenience we could have asked for right in the neighborhood. It is really an excellent location in the city center, and we would absolutely stay here again, if we are so lucky to find it available on our next visit to Amsterdam. Highly recommend it!

  • My boyfriend and I can safely say we've LIVED in Anand's beautiful apartment (we stayed there for several months) and are thrilled we chose his cozy apartment as our Amsterdam home-away-from-home. From beginning to end, Anand was nothing less than a PHENOMENAL host. We were greeted with wine and fruit, detailed maps, and small touches that made all the difference to us as guests.

De Pijp is a great area to stay in and is within minutes by bike/tram/metro/train of literally anything you want to go to. We loved that the Albert Cuypstraat Markt was just steps away from Anand's place and we frequented it often.

Based on the number of 5-star reviews Anand already has, it's clear that most everyone else agrees with us. We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone else considering a stay at his beautiful apartment. He's a great guy all around and the amount of detail and thought he puts into preparing his place for guests makes us think he could be a standout hotel manager!

P.S. The 4 very steep flights of stairs up to his place are awesome--just think of them as the authentic Dutch experience! Live like the locals. ;-)

I'm 29 years old, just finished university to become a medical doctor and currently trying to decide which next step I'm gonna make. In my free time I love traveling, both the short city trips and the long journeys far away, discovering new continents, different cultures. I was able to make some of these trips thanks to the money I earned from renting out my apartment through Airbnb and I'm really grateful for that. As a host I have been using Airbnb for about 2 years now and I love it. The reason I started was to earn some extra money while traveling, but while doing it I really started enjoying it, trying to make your guests have a good time, giving them all the information they need to make the most of their stay in my great city.
