Martina était très gentille et l'appartement était beau et propre. C'est un appartement avec 2 chambres privées et une toilette et cuisine commune. Notre chambre était grande et ce situait dans un quartier paisible loin des grandes foules. À recommander
Martina was a wonderful host, I enjoyed the stay in Venetia a lot! She gave very accurate descriptions how to reach her place and welcomed me in person, showing me around and giving recommendations what to do and what to avoid while being in Venice.
The room is very conveniently located, it is just a short walk to some of the nice piazzas and even Rialto bridge (from where one can reach anything else). I had all I needed, Martina even left me a anti-mosquito-plugin-thingy which proved very helpful (still bring some insect repellant spray in any case).
Martina also left me her whatsapp for any questions I'd have during my stay and we talked some more on my last day. I enjoyed staying in her place very much and I'd love to come back! Highly recommended!
The room was just as advertised. Very close walk to the station. Nice neighborhood - but where in Venice isn't?!
The place is located close to the train station/bus stop from the airport, which was great. It was clean and nice, but you will have to share the bathroom with people in the other room.
Our stay with Martina was nice. The room was cute but there was a bit of an odor in the bathroom and living room area. It's kind of the same odor all throughout Venice so it wasn't really a fault of Martina or a cleanliness issue. It's just something to note. The room itself smelled fine though. The bed was comfortable and Martina was nice about giving tips about where to eat and shop and what to avoid. The only issue we had was that we ran out of toilet paper on our last night and we could not find a refill anywhere so that was a little frustrating. Also, she took a while to respond sometimes but she always responded eventually. There were also a lot of mosquitos but Martina provided plug in mosquito repellent so that was nice. We didn't get bit at all. The street was really quiet and we were able to sleep well. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend staying there.
The location was prime and the apartment was very nicely decorated but our stay was absolutely miserable. Upon arriving I asked Martina if there was a mosquito net as we saw in the listing pictures of the room before booking. She told us the nets make it too hot and gave us something to plug into the wall, but we literally got eaten alive and each had about 20 bites after night one. Then we looked in the other room that guests were staying in and they had a lovely net so we felt that was a bit shaddy. Also, it was so hot the other guests named the bathroom the sauna as it has a sky light and was literally about 120 F in it during our stay. It was very hot during July so I would never recommend someone stay here in the summer as it put us over the edge in addition to the bug bites. Although, Martina does not have control of the heat so we don't fault her for that. Just know you most likely want AC during the summer in Venice! During a cooler season this would probably be a perfect place if bugs are properly taken care of. After one night, we left and this was early for us as we didn't want to keep getting eaten by mosquitoes. We weren't refunded for the nights we didn't stay, yet think a partial refund would have been fair as the apartment amenities weren't as advertised, which affected our comfort as the mosquitoes made the decision for us!
