About this listing
Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, the rich smell of coffee brewing (or tea!) in the morning. Two minutes from freeway access, 5 minutes from downtown, one block from public transport. Urban situated with a secret garden oasis through the back door.
A beautiful, comfortable home, five minutes to downtown Milwaukee. Visit the world famous Harley Davidson museum and plant, the Milwaukee Art Museum designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, attend one of the numerous music festivals, and much, much more. There will be coffee and tea for you in the morning, along with some treats: chocolate croissants, muffins, or cinnamon rolls. Yum!
You are welcome to make yourself at home. Read or listen to music in the living room. Make yourself lunch in the kitchen, and enjoy eating in the dining room. A drink by candlelight on the deck is a great way to end the day.
Iron and hair dryer available.
Bathrooms may be shared with other guests - I will let you know when you inquire about space if there are other guests at that time.

Kerry's home was easy to find and ideally located for my Marquette University event as well as convenient to many Milwaukee sites. Her neighborhood is urban and diverse, and her home is located on a quiet tree-lined residential street with plenty of street parking.
Kerry was communicative and welcoming. I was offered watermelon within minutes of my arrival. Her house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Everything was just as it appeared in the pictures. The bedroom was well-furnished and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels, counter space, and water pressure. Unfortunately, I did not get to spend much time with Kerry due to our conflicting schedules, but she was readily available if I needed anything or had any questions.
Kerry was a delightful host and her home is just as comfortable as it could be. The house is in a great friendly neighborhood. There were families sitting on their porches with kids playing in the yard. When I arrived in the evening. It is centrally located between my favorite parts of Milwaukee. Just a short drive to the waterfront and convenient to great restaurants at the west end of North street. Thanks
Kerry is a wonderful host and the house and room are just as pleasant as described--comfortable bed, soft sheets, all that water pressure, reading material, breakfast laid out, enchanting garden. If anything, the sea-green room is even prettier than pictured! Kerry was very helpful as I planned my trip and welcomed me with all the information I needed. We didn't overlap much in her colorful, artful home, but she's so fascinating that I'm glad we got to talk a bit. Nice neighborhood with tons of parking and a quick drive downtown. Great place to stay!
Kerry was a very welcoming host. We arrived late due to bad holiday travel but Kerry was waiting to show us the place. The home is very comfortable , clean and organized. Our room was festive and comfortable as well. Plenty of room for the two of us. The shower was amazing with its super duper water pressure. Much appreciated.
The home sits in a quiet up and coming neighborhood and is close to all major roadways in and around Milwaukee. Very convenient.
The downstairs kitchen met all our needs.
When I am in Milwaukee, I always stay with Kerry. Her house is easy to get to, central to everything, warm, and friendly. Kerry is very approachable and we always have great conversations. The house itself is quiet, as is the solid working class neighborhood. This time, I noticed and appreciated the high thread count sheets!!!!!
Kerry was an amazing host!!!! The listing is extremely true to its word and photographs. I made a mistake in the booking and Kerry was very willing to let us come a day later than we had planned. She welcomed us into her charming home with coupons for coffee, a discount card for the local market and had a book of maps/things to do for us to look through. She treated us to coffee, tea and fresh pastries in the morning, and my mom and I had a great time getting to know Kerry during our laid-back stay in Milwaukee. Her lovely home is just a few blocks from coffee shops, restaurants and the city - the perfect location and cost if you're looking to explore MKE! If we ever return to the city, I know where we'll be staying! Thanks again, Kerry!
P.S. only stay here if you enjoy sleeping on soft, fluffy clouds - MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS EVER.
This was my second time with Kerry and as usual the house was wonderful. Kerry is very friendly, accommodating and communicative. The house was clean, warm and had everything that I needed.
