About this listing
Get away from the stress and hassle of the City. Enjoy great views of Alexander Valley wine country while relaxing under a down comforter in bed, soaking in the claw foot tub, or sipping a glass of wine from the deck. The cabin is 5 minutes from Cloverdale, 10 minutes from Geyserville, 15 minutes from Healdsburg.
In summer, guests can enjoy our 25 yard infinity pool with views of the Alexander Valley. The pool is adjacent to the main house and is not for exclusive use of the cabin guests.
Come and enjoy relaxed, high quality wineries in Anderson Valley, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley. We can hook you up with wineries and tasting rooms run by good friends who can provide you with a unique experience including Locals, Meeker, Mercury, and Trione.
If you want to hike or run, there are great trails along the Russian River or around Lake Sonoma. The bike riding is legendary through Dry Creek Valley or up Sulphur Creek for the adventurous.
Eating in Cloverdale is casual and fun at La Hacienda, Ruth McGowan's Brew Pub (excellent artisan beers), the Hamburger Ranch and Pick's (a class drive in with the best bacon cheeseburger in the county), and the Railroad Station (gastropub). Geyserville offers Diavola, with better pizza and Roman-style italian food than Delfina, without the hype and Catelli's -- family style Italian with a celebrity chef connection to Lady Gaga. And Healdsburg is a foodie paradise.
Please note: This cabin is perfect for two adults. We do not allow pets. It is not a child-proof, child-friendly space so we do not allow children as guests.
Larger groups? Ask about our additional capacity including a vintage airstream trailer and more.
Pets are not allowed. The cabin is for two adults and is not appropriate for children due to its size and potential hazards, including our two friendly, but rambunctious, 100 lb Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
We had an amazing stay at Tod and Peter's place. Their cabin has one of the best views in Alexander Valley! We enjoyed running on trials by their house, reading on the deck with coffee, and swimming and lounging by their incredible infinity pool. Tod went above and beyond to make us comfortable, bringing us water, chilled wine, and even fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast. This is a great way to spend a relaxing weekend away and is close to everything you could possible want. We found some wineries and restaurants in Healdsburg, Geyserville, Cloverdale all within 10 minutes. If you're looking for a weekend getaway in wine country - this is an amazing spot!!
We had a wonderful time there for boyfriend's birthday weekend. The pool was just breathtaking! "Urban utopia" was how we described the views up there. Tod was very friendly, brought us fresh melons in the morning. The only thing was we picked the hottest weekend to be up there and the cabin didn't have ac so it was a little hard to fall asleep at night with the heat waves. Tub was great! oh for females, maybe bring a hair blow dryer, it wasn't available there. Overall we truly enjoyed the stay!! Will definitely be back in the near future when the weather gets less hot. Recommended!
What an awesome place! We had a wonderful time staying at this Airbnb. The hosts were great at keeping in touch and gave us so many food/hiking/winery recommendations for the area. The cabin itself is very charming and is the perfect spot for a getaway weekend.
I'm already wishing I was back at Tod & Peter's Cabin. What a wonderful little oasis! I really felt that our hosts were very thoughtful in curating a relaxing and interesting stay. The cabin smelled delightfully like lavender. We were provided with plenty of information regarding the area. The bed was supremely comfortable, and, of course, nothing could beat the view! Make sure you save time for a bath in the luxurious clawfoot tub and a dip in the prettiest pool I have ever seen.
I cannot stress how much I loved our stay but I should note a few things: This cabin truly is a bit rustic in that you may be surprised by a few very large spiders. It can also be a tad tricky to get primped in this place. We were going to a wedding and there wasn't a comfortable place to do my hair and make-up, but I made it work. It was all totally worth it!
We will be back for sure!
We stayed at Tod's lovely cabin for two nights. It is modern and tastefully decorated, very well-kept and clean. The outlook from the bath-tube overlooking Alexander Valley is the perfect start to anyone looking to relax and enjoy Cloverdale wine estates and surroundings.
We had a fantastic time at Tod's. The cabin is fantastic. It's small but the open bathroom is great to relax in after a bike ride or hike. We really enjoyed sitting out on the little deck at night looking at the stars. Tod was very welcoming. Oh and the pool, pictures don't do it justice. Would stay again.
We booked the cabin partly because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews -- and we were not disappointed! It's tucked away on a hill overlooking beautiful vineyards, as described. We spent most of the days (and it's hot - late June in Sonoma can be stifling) out and about on Sonoma Lake, wine tasting, at Bodega Bay, etc. and came back to the cabin as it cooled down in the evenings to enjoy the sunset, a book, a game of Splendour, and more wine, of course).
And it's quiet. So quiet.
The hospitality was amazing: a bottle of wine in the fridge (their own label), recommendations on food and wine tasting in Geyserville, Healdsburg and Cloverdale, etc. We ended up going back the Mercury tasting room multiple times to stock up...
And in the mornings, as the fog lifted over Alexander Valley, we found fresh cut fruit and yogurt left for us by Tod.
