We have created a unique, joyful space ...along with a view, and WHAT a view! Never boring with fishing boats going to and fro, music and fun! A 5 minute walk to Centro with unlimited dining and entertainment options. Beaches close by and walking distance to or head to the pier where you can grab a panga to get to Playa Las Gatas.. Enjoy the sunrise from the deck with your favourite cuppa, and then luxuriate in the coolness as the sun sets behind us and watch the moon as she arrives.

The space
Our decor is bright and happy.."Muchos colores" with many unique touches that will delight your senses and make you smile.
Our Casa has two complete PRIVATE, self-contained apartments and LOADS of living space. Lovely deck for your morning coffee or entertaining in the evening. The sun rises in front of the house and then moves behind so the later afternoons are much cooler than on the La Ropa side. The deck overlooks the ocean where sailing boats are anchored, pangas motor back and forth and there is always something going on. We are a five minute walk to the pier where you can take a panga to Las Gatas coral beach, one of the favourite beaches in Zihuatanejo. We are situated practically NEXT DOOR to two of the most popular restaurants in Zihuatanejo, Casa Bahia and Coco Bahia famous for their fresh seafood, wonderful ambiance and overlooking the bay..
There is a wonderful beach walk that passes by the fish market where you can buy fish direct from the fishermen..oh goodness, there is just SO MIUCH!!

Neighborhood highlights

We are on the Porto Mio side of Zihuatanejo across the canal, five minutes walking to Centro. It is a very authentic part of town, families live here and only a few hotels and motels. It has a decidedly non touristy feel..a neighbourhood....which we love and think YOU will, too!

Our motto is How easy can it be??? We have been coming to Zihuatanejo for over 10 years and have fallen in love with the charm of the people here, the small town vibe but with all the amenities of a bigger city, walking distance away. We are very involved in Sailfest (February)and the International Guitarfest (March)and are committed to helping improve the lives of the people in any way we can. We live here for 6-7 months a year and reside on the top, top floor in our beautiful Casa Roja. We are easily reached if you need anything, but will stay out of your way. We love to meet folks and show them what we love about Zihuatanejo! However if you would like to be private, we are cool with that, too.
