Nestled on 24 wooded acres our glamping tents have all the comforts of home. Bar Harbors first glampground, the Woods of Eden is just 4 miles from Acadia National Park. Our quiet, peaceful setting is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. You can enjoy the shade of the woods and the cool ocean breezes from the comfort of your deck. Each tent has its' own full bathroom, bedrooms, a kitchenette, deck and gas grill. There is a communal fire pit that all six tents share.

The space
This tent sleeps six in two queen beds and a bunk. One of the queen beds is accessed via a short ladder. Each tent has a full bathroom, living/ dining area, kitchenette with a sink and small fridge and a covered deck. Our showers boast 8 shower heads with a large hot water tank to ensure a warm shower for all.

We provide all sheets, pillows and blankets for the beds and towels for the bathroom as well as basic paper products, cleaning supplies and shampoo, conditioner and soap.
A small refrigerator, kitchen sink, coffee maker, toaster, induction hot plate and gas grill are provided for those times you want to stay put and cook for yourselves.
Deep in the cool woods, the ocean breezes and shade of the woods will make for comfortable sleeping on summer nights. For those cooler fall nights we provide electric heaters. Each tent is situated to provide you with privacy but is still close enough to the other tents to create a sense of community.

Less than a half mile from the ocean, you will feel and smell the ocean breeze as it blows thru the tall pine, cedar and oak that shade your tent. If you’re looking for adventure in the park, you are just 4 miles from America’s favorite park, Acadia. When you are ready to shop and dine or catch a movie, downtown Bar Harbor is only 6 miles away. This famous seaside resort town has everything you will need to make your vacation memorable.

Important things to know before you book.

We do not allow dogs.

We have a communal fire pit and do not allow people to set up individual portable fire pits.

The FREE firewood is sometimes wet. If so there is dry firewood nearby for purchase.

Our grounds are quiet and peaceful and we impose quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. We discourage groups who wish to stay up late being loud and disruptive.
If your party is disruptive to other glampers, you may be asked to leave.

Deer, Moose and Bear tent require you to walk no more than 200 yards to the tent. They do NOT have tent side parking. Americana, Loon and Owl do.

It's important to note that one of the Queen beds is located in a loft that you must climb a few steps on a ladder to access. This is not a true bedroom, but rather a bed inside an enclosed loft. It's ideal for kids, teens and fit adults.
