About this listing
Charming one bedroom apartment in Nice Gambetta area. Located in the real Nice, the apartment is within walking distance from the Promenade des Anglais and the beaches, the great farmer market of Avenue de la Liberation, the lively shopping area of Avenue Jean Medecin and the train station. The area has many popular local restaurants (La Cantine d’André, Yummy! ) and shops, even a Casher supermarket and a Celtic stringed-instrument maker!
Tramway, busses and two ‘Velo Bleu’ stations (it is the cheap Nice bike rental system) are 2 minute walking distance and will bring you everywhere in Nice.
This apartment is at the second floor of an amazing art deco Villa renovated in 2011. The living room is furnished with wooden floors, old colorful stained-glass windows, art deco dining table and Internet access. The kitchen is equipped with major appliances and the convenient bathroom contains a bath with shower.
The quiet bedroom has a comfortable double bed. A large closet is available in the corridor. There is a sofa in the living room. Perfectly suitable to discover Nice and its surroundings.

Interaction with Guests
Me or my friend Rémi can help if you need some tips (food, what to see, train and bus,.. ) as well as small practical issues if ever you encounter some problems.
It is a lively but quiet neighborhood of Nice. People work and live there so you can have a real taste of the daily life in Nice. I recommend two restaurants (both 4 min walk): Le Garnier 48 Boulevard Joseph Garnier and La Cuisine d'André 134 Boulevard Gambetta. You can also go to the open air market in the morning (Marché de la Libération). In Nice, the Cours Saleya, the old Nice, the Place Masséna, the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Castle, the Port... the Museum MOCA to name a few are worth seeing . Don't forget as well the region: Antibes, Saint Paul de Vence, Monaco, ...I have guides for you in the flat.
The Main train station is 15 min walk. The Tram is 7 min walk and bring you everywhere. The Airport is 15 minutes by taxi and around 30 min by bus (N° 99). You have many Vélo Bleu stations (bike rental service) - 1 euro per day. this is very convenient.
Guests are usually very nice. I leave coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar etc..in the kitchen and I like guests to renew when they run out of them for the others. But there is not obligation of course.
