Cozy off grid cottage on a working ranch. Located 6 miles down gravel road into the desert and worth every bump. Chick Inn previously housing 350 hens raising farm fresh eggs. With a full renovation, now a beautiful living space creating an old fashioned experience. Complementary Dutch oven artisan bread, preserves and goodies. A farm to table breakfast with ingredients from the ranch is available upon request with additional charge.
The space
Please feel free to be adventurous and explore the ranch where you will find farm animals of all kinds including-chickens, sheep, pigs, horses and cows and dogs. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets, endless silence, stars as far as the eye can see and the sounds of coyotes howling to the moon in the distance.

Other things to note
Yes, you will see power lines only a couple hundred yards away but our ranch is 100% off grid in every possible way. You will find that you still have most Normal amenities such as power, water, heat And bathroom facilities. While enjoying these solar/battery powered amenities on our off grid property please keep large appliance use to a minimum as this does drain our solar powered battery pack system quickly. If for some reason the battery charge is low, power will go out but we will get it turned back on within a few minutes. If for some reason it’s not on within a few minutes please feel free to text or call Layne or Travis and we will get it started ASAP. Please enjoy this fun adventure as it may put the luxury of our modern amenities into perspective.

Neighborhood highlights
The ranch is 100% off grid 6 miles down a dirt road, yes a long, bumpy, dirty road. Ha ha You will enjoy more peace and quiet than you could ever imagine with occasional sounds of the farm animals. There is a gas station at the end of the dirt road, 10-15 min away. You will also find other fast food/grocery near by.
