Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • This apartment is bright, clean, quiet, and conveniently located within Berlin. It is literally around the corner from the Spittlemarkt stop on the U2 line. Finding it and getting the keys was the easiest process of any place I have rented on Airbnb. I would gladly stay at this same apartment next time I am in Berlin, or if it is not available, rent one of Martin's many other properties.

  • Martin's apartment was spotlessly clean. with new sheets and towels and clean. the bathroom was immaculate. Nearby there are many places to have breakfast very cheap and good. the U2 subway is 50 meters away from home. The house is very quiet and comfortable. perfect to rest after traveling around Berlin all day.

  • This little 1 bdrm apt was just what we needed for our stay in Berlin. It's close all the essentials - grocery store, cafes, public transportation & various tourist attractions. A great find in the heart of the Mitte district for a reasonable price.

    July 2012
  • Martin's apartment is very central - right around the corner from Ubahn Spittelmarkt, and a short distance from Alexanderplatz, so it's very easy to get around the city.

The apartment is new and has all the necessary things. Bed is comfortable and the street is pretty quiet. We were welcomed by Jürgen, who told us about the neighborhood.

Even though it says to take bus+2xUbahn to get from Tegel to the apartment, I would recommend the TXL bus which goes from Tegel to Alexanderplatz. From there just catch the U2 to Spittelmarkt (3 stops). Especially now because they are doing construction on the Ubahn line mentioned in the directions.

  • It was a really great to stay at Martin's apartment. Good, silent, but central location, clean, modern and simple. I came late and had no problem with check in, got maps, advices and all. Would reccoment to everyone.

  • Very goodplace, ggod location, clean and new.
When we arrived the friend who has to wait for us with the key was on his way out. By chance he's met us on the street. We came 10 minutes later than the 13:00 the hour we said we'll come!
    Beside that it was great.

  • The apartment was just spot on. Located nicely in the center of Berlin and in a quiet neighborhood. The small apartment was recently modernized and is very comfortable

Our host was very flexible with regards to our check-in time and also helpfully provided some tips on where to park our car.

All in all I would recommend the host and room to anybody visiting Berlin

First of all, the most important thing :-) Normally you will get an answer for every inquiry within the same day! For whom is my service intended? For everyone! My guests are very mixed – the businessman from New York feels as comfortable here as the young family from a small town. I welcome the culturally interested, those who come here to Berlin events like the Berlinale or Fashion Week, music lovers and clubbers, and those who just want a relaxing holiday. Everyone is welcome, from singles to extended families. What’s my aim? To offer friendly, comprehensive and straightforward service at moderate prices – no ifs and buts! Who am I? The idea of an unconventional apartment service was born in the sunny April of 2003 over a glass of wine, cheese and a baguette. The accommodation service was set up, and what was initially a bit of fun and a second job quickly grew into a profession and a passion. Add two staff members, three temporary assistants and a trainee – and you get an ambitious crew that aims to grow even further! Where am I located? The firm’s office is located in the legendary suburb of Prenzlauer Berg, a central location in the former east of the city. The ‘wild’ years that followed the fall of the Wall are past, but life here is still lively and upbeat. The apartments and rooms are in central locations of Berlin, especially in the West in a central location close to Kurfürstendamm (Nollendorfplatz), and also in the Eastern centre like Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt.
