Description

The space

I am located in beautiful, Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The "C" train (10 minutes to Lower Manhattan) is a 1/2 block from the building. The "G" train (for traveling between Brooklyn & Queens) is 3 blocks away. The stop for both is the Clinton-Washington stop. ****As of 5/7/2016 I have added a 4 year old Shiba Inu to my home. He is a rescue I adopted after he was removed from his previous owner due to neglect/abuse.****

At a leisurely pace I am a 15 minute walk from the 2,3,4 & 5 trains and the Brooklyn Museum on Eastern Parkway. About another 5 minutes of walking to Prospect Park. About a 10 minute walk from Fort Greene Park. The same for restaurants, bars and shopping in the area. Short train rides to Manhattan and other wonderful areas of Brooklyn like Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Williamsburg, DUMBO, and Park Slope.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. There is antenna TV, high speed cable internet, a full size galley kitchen with a dishwasher and laundry in the building for $1.75/load.

Large closet with shelves that act as your dresser provided for your clothes so you don't have to live out of your suitcase.

Clean sheets and towels provided for your stay.

Brand new building, monthly preventative extermination service.

**ALL fees included in the number you see here on the website! Nothing additional once you arrive!**

Thank you for looking and I hope to hear from you!

***My acceptance rate is slightly skewed by the fact I give the first person to contact me about dates the right of first refusal if someone else tries to book with me. I have never turned down a reservation request if the dates were open and not already inquired about.***

*PLEASE READ THE 'HOUSE RULES' WHICH ARE MINIMAL*

Guest access

Full access to the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Basically all areas of the apartment except my bedroom.

Interaction with guests

I like to interact with guests as much or as little as they want to interact with me. I work freelance and have odd hours at times, but when I can I am happy to chat, have drinks or even share a meal. I want my guests to feel less like guests and more like friends or family.

The neighborhood

Within walking distance there are many great restaurants and bars, the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, Barclay's Center (Brooklyn Nets, concerts, and soon to be NY Islanders) and easy transportation options.

Getting around

The "C" train is 1/2 block (about 150 meters) from the apartment and the "G" train is 2 1/2 blocks from the apartment. Easy to get in and out of Manhattan at any time of day.

Other things to note

****As of 5/7/2016 I have added a 4 year old Shiba Inu to my home. He is a rescue I adopted after he was removed from his previous owner due to neglect.****
