I've stocked the place with coffee and tea and cream. The most awesome Whole Foods in the nation is located on W. 6th St. a nice stroll through downtown away.

  • Very nice apartment in a fun location. A little shabby-chic, but clean and very comfortable. Above a bar, but one that closes reasonably early -- 10 during the week and midnight on the weekends, with no live music -- but the street is quite busy, especially on the weekends, so you'll want the windows closed and A/C for air circulation unless you're a heavy sleeper. Great communication from Alexandra, totally easy to find, lots of great restaurants and music options nearby, and convenient to downtown -- I walked everywhere I went. Not ideal for people who want a quiet spot, go to bed quite early, or who need everything just so, but for a very comfortable place in a fun neighborhood in which you can get a sense of how young Austin enjoys its city, this is a great place.

  • Listing was just as expected and as everyone else previously reviewed. The apartment is located in the perfect spot and is adorable! My husband and I enjoyed our stay and were happy with the convenience of the location. We rented bikes from a place around the corner and were able to see the whole city. The apartment was clean and neat!

  • Nice little apartment in a great location. The pictures accurately depict the apartment and Alexandria was very helpful and responsive. This will be my new place to stay when visiting Austin

  • This place was so "Austin". Very interesting neighborhood that is being revitalized. We loved the Cenote! Alexandria was helpful and responsive. And if you were wanting to drink a bit and not worry about driving, then this was easy walking distance to lots of places. We enjoyed this quirky little apartment!

  • I went to Austin with a friend for a girls' weekend and we could not have been happier with where we stayed!
The apartment truly is in the BEST location - you can walk just about anywhere you want to go in Austin. You're steps away from great restaurants, bars and food trucks, and if you need to go farther there are bike rentals one block over and a bus pickup right outside the door.
The apartment's decor was cute and well done, the place was clean, the AC units kept it plenty cool, towels were provided (thanks!) and the coffee in the fridge helped make sure the days started right. The only downside to keep in mind is that because it's above a bar and on a busy bar-laden street, there is a bit of noise in the evenings, however we found that it wasn't more than a pair of earplugs could easily handle.
We wanted for nothing during our stay. Andi really went above and beyond with this place. I would definitely look to stay here again on my next trip to Austin. Can't recommend this place enough!

  • Such a cute place to stay. Everything was setup great and Alexandria was super attentive to anything we needed! Couldn't be more happy with our first airbnb experience. You should definitely check out the places she recommends for you, some really great spots. This apartment was fantastically located especially if you don't have a car. You can walk right into downtown or really just hop around east Austin and check out the food trucks and bars. We were so glad we stayed here with all the surrounding things to do! Thanks again

  • The apartment was great - the pictures are an accurate reflection and it was a lovely place to stay for a week. It's well equipped, and there was even English breakfast tea in the kitchen, which was a very pleasant surprise! The bar downstairs stays open quite late, so it got a bit noisy late at the weekend, but this wasn't a problem for us. It was an easy 10-15 min walk to downtown Austin, and there were lots of great places to eat and go out nearby. Alexandria (the host) was easy to get hold of and responded very quickly to all of our questions.

  • Alexandria was a wonderful host and her apartment is everything we expected. It's spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and in a great part of town. I would stay here again!

  • The apartment looked just like the pictures. Adorable and well decorated. We couldn't have asked for a better location and having the kitchen stocked with everything we needed was really helpful. The beds were also extremely comfortable. We came during a bout of unusually cold weather, and so the bathroom was cold, but the rest of the apartment was very warm and a pleasure to stay in.
