About this listing

I currently (as of June 22, 2017) have memberships you are welcome to use to:

• The Whitney Museum
• The American Museum of Natural History
• Brooklyn Museum

I will be adding more memberships in the near future. Please inquire if I've added any not currently listed.

If you are a hockey fan, I am a 15 minute walk to Barclays Center where the NY Islanders play. I have season tickets I am willing to sell for face value. Section 209 row 1, seats 5 & 6.

The space

I am located in beautiful, Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The "C" train (10 minutes to Lower Manhattan) is a 1/2 block from the building. The "G" train (for traveling between Brooklyn & Queens) is 3 blocks away. The stop for both is the Clinton-Washington stop. ****As of 5/7/2016 I have added a 4 year old Shiba Inu to my home. He is a rescue I adopted after he was removed from his previous owner due to neglect/abuse.****

At a leisurely pace I am a 15 minute walk from the 2,3,4 & 5 trains and the Brooklyn Museum on Eastern Parkway. About another 5 minutes of walking to Prospect Park. About a 10 minute walk from Fort Greene Park. The same for restaurants, bars and shopping in the area. Short train rides to Manhattan and other wonderful areas of Brooklyn like Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Williamsburg, DUMBO, and Park Slope.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. There is antenna TV, high speed cable internet, a full size galley kitchen with a dishwasher and laundry in the building for $1.75/load.

Large closet with shelves that act as your dresser provided for your clothes so you don't have to live out of your suitcase.

Clean sheets and towels provided for your stay.

Brand new building, monthly preventative extermination service.

**ALL fees included in the number you see here on the website! Nothing additional once you arrive!**

Thank you for looking and I hope to hear from you!

***My acceptance rate is slightly skewed by the fact I give the first person to contact me about dates the right of first refusal if someone else tries to book with me. I have never turned down a reservation request if the dates were open and not already inquired about.***

*PLEASE READ THE 'HOUSE RULES' WHICH ARE MINIMAL*

Guest access

Full access to the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Basically all areas of the apartment except my bedroom.

Interaction with guests

I like to interact with guests as much or as little as they want to interact with me. I work freelance and have odd hours at times, but when I can I am happy to chat, have drinks or even share a meal. I want my guests to feel less like guests and more like friends or family.

Other things to note

****As of 5/7/2016 I have added a 4 year old Shiba Inu to my home. He is a rescue I adopted after he was removed from his previous owner due to neglect.****

He was so friendly and kind. I got free beers from him! I loved drinking it. I hope I'll visit his house again.

Chris is an amazing example of what a real human is like! He is down to earth, always eager to help and please his guests. He gave me all different sorts of tops about great food, amazing bars. He also gave me his museum membership card to use for free, that's not to mention his awesome home brewed beer! I must add the man is a very friendly intelligent conversationalist, and I really enjoyed our chats! If you are lucky enough to find him available, book without hesitation, trust me you will have an awesome stay

Chris is definitely way beyond a "superhost"! My friend and I have been staying in his flat for a month and everything is just perfect. The neighbourhood has all what you need - 100 steps away from the metro, welcoming and safe neighbourhood, and of course loads of cafes to satisfy our crave for good food!! Chris is a bonus for our trip, he's a really friendly and accommodating host - I arrived to NYC a day earlier and made a really late notice to him, yet he was still able to cater for my sudden change :) also, he's an interesting person with diverse interests, we definitely enjoyed our talks with him and he respected our privacy when we needed too! His flat is one of the tidiest and cleanest that i have stayed in so we really feel "at home" every time we are back, will definitely recommend this awesome bnb to everyone who wish to explore NYC <3

We stayed at Chris's place during our trip to NY. The host is very friendly and has wonderful dog - Jitsu. The place is very clean, spacious and conveniently located near the subway station. It is very easy to go to Manhattan or JFK airport. The whole area is safe and has lots of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
