Response from Simon And Anna:

Victoriana and Jeff were very considerate guests, we had easy communication with them both prior to and during their stay. They are easy going and we recommend hosting their stay to other hosts. They are welcome back any time at our place :-)

The local supermarket. Open until 9 o clock every day. Not cheap but convenient.
    Ryesgade Copenhagen 2100
  • Cafe Gavlen V/jesper Jørgensen

This is a nice place to meet the locals - a very mixed clientele. Here you can have breakfast, a coffee or dinner and some seriously good cheese cakes! Just 5 minutes from the flat.

  • Kind Of Blue (Claus Ploug)

Good wine, good music (sometimes tiny jazz bands play in the corner just beside the bar). Owned by a former film director who has done the decor him self - very successfully. The GT are very good.
    Ravnsborggade 2200
  • Ravnsborggade

    Nice street with antiquity shops.

  • Kaffesalonen

On a sunny morning this is the place for breakfast.Especially on the large pontoon on the lake. During weekends they serve brunch and during week days simple and reasonably priced breakfast.

  • Harbo Bar

A vibrant bar that attracts a local young crowd every night. They also serve a good breakfast before noon.
Blågårdsgade Copenhagen Capital Region of Denmark 2200
  • Torvehallerne

Two food halls - one full of shops selling cakes, tea, coffee etc), in the other one you will find fish, meet, olives, sushi and more. To cook yourself, eat in or take away. The fishn chips are good!

  • Blågårdsgade

A vibrant street with several bars, cafes and restaurants that are always busy and with good atmosphere. Bust in no 3 serves well made Danish food - eat in canteen style or take away.

  • Cafe Rosa v/Mayako Yumoto

Cafe Rosa is inside the large food hall. Her you get the best cakes ever! Run by Swedish/Japanese Maya - who naturally looks like Pippi Long-stocking. It is tine but its worth the queueing.

  • Jægersborggade

Hip street with lots of tiny shops - some of them quite specialized (e.g.. the only shop selling hand sewn shoes I know of in Copenhagen). Towards Stefansgade there are several cafes. Hang out.

  • Manfreds

Very good Danish food with a modern twist, served in bistro style settings. The wines are organic. There is a chance of getting a table without having booked.

  • Relae

If you want to try new Nordic cuisine and wasnt lucky in trying to book a table at Noma - this is the place to go. It is run by a former chef from Noma.
    Jægersborggade København Hovedstaden 2200
  • Stefansgade

Hip street with lots of good cafes. Taxa is a good place to sit in the sun for a drink or a (cafe style) dinner on a sunny evening. Check out the urban garden just opposite of Taxa.
