The Space

I'm renting a fully furnished apartments in Taksim, the heart of the city. The flat is located in the centre of Beyoglu (former Pera). Istiklal street with its art galleries, small bars and restautants is only a few minutes walk away. The street is also knows as the main shopping destination of Istanbul. Taksim is on the European side of the city, it is also possible to take the ferry to get to the Asian side, where you can visit the Maiden Tower.

The apartment is located on the first floor. Satellite TV, DVD player, Internet Access and a fully equipped kitchen are available. Bed sheets and towels are included in the price as well as the cleaning fee and other charges. You are welcome to use the iron, vacuum cleaner and hair dryer.

I have other three flats. Please have a look my other listings under my profile.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I'm looking forward to welcoming you.

Yours truly
Nico

  • We met Ahmet who was really nice and came to pick us up near the flat although it was really late at night, which was really kind indeed. The flat is well located. It is small (especially the bedroom and bathroom) but well equipped and with good wifi. The walls could use some painting though - it is not as clean and new as we would have expected.

  • Nico is a great host, even though we were domestic tourists he was very welcoming and he provided us the necessary details about Istanbul.
The flat was tidy and clean when we first arrived. Its location is good; safe, close to Istiklal Street, and large enough to host 2-3 people. It will be a pleasure to stay in his flat, I totally recommend it. If you are going to visit Istanbul anytime in the future, YOU should consider this flat seriously. I will be happy to visit him anytime soon.

  • We had the best time in Nico's flat and in Istanbul. Nico is a really general host. He picked us up in the big shopping street Istiklal Caddesi, so we did not have to search for the apartment (or carry our own suitcases!). After a 5-8 minute walk from there, into a little bit dodgy (but OK) neighbourhood we reached the apartment. Although the strees were very dark by night, we never felt unsafe walking there as two girls. Nico explained us the best ways to get around, and gave us a lot of advice about Istanbul and the apartment. He really took his time. That was great! The apartment itself is situated on walking distance from loads of nice restaurants and bars in Beyoglu. It is small but very comfortable and looked great. The mattress was a bit old but we slept like a rose on it. Shower and toilet are tiny but clean. All in all: great value for money!

  • Nico and Ahmed were very prompt with their replies and generous with their welcome. My sister and I stayed in their little flat for 3 nights and enjoyed it!

  • Thanks you Nico, he is welcoming and very accommodating. We spent a great time in istanbul. The flat is well located in a very alive part of the city, close to a lot of famous area by foot or by transport. The place was clean and fitted.
Hope to come back, and in Nico's appartment with pleasure

  • The apart seems at first small for three people but we did it fine and we appreciated the location between tsakim and galata bridge so that we could go walking to both sides. It is near from the principal street and the animation but it is not noisy (except people that go to their studio, wich is not a problem). Nico was present and he did what was necesary for us . At least, the price is good.
i recomend this place to visit Istanbul for few days (one week).

  • Nico was welcoming, accommodating, and just overall a charming host. He met my friend and I on nearby Istiklal street and carried our bags to the flat pointing out things on the way to help us become familiar with the neighborhood. He made sure we had everything we needed, including water, and made it clear how accessible he was if we needed him.

The location was ideal - off a quiet street, but close to the lively Istiklal, 10 min walk to Takism, and around a 15 min walk to Galata Bridge. We had no problem walking to many of the city's sights, but could also walk a few minutes and find ourself only among locals. Truly unbeatable location.

The flat itself is quaint. It's located up a steep set of stairs, but once inside has everything you need. It is small and has a few rough edges, but had enough space for two visitors that spent most their time out and about the city. By the end of our visit, it had grown on us quite a bit.

  • Kleine, schnucklige Wohnung in super Lage.

About
Hello everybody! I am Nico and I am italian. I live in this wonderful town since 2011 I love this amazing town from my first visit and i falled in love with at first sight so this is why I decided to move here. I m renting flats with my turkish work partner Ahmet and I really love my job because I have the chance to meet people coming from all over the world and sometimes I like to drink a cup of tea with my guests and talking about our countries and many other subjects, in this way it is like I can travel all around the world staying here in Istanbul....without moving, I am also a traveller and as I can I like to book a last minute flight discovering new countries I like swiming, reading, listening music and watching documentaries is one of my favourite things. I love animals...I love my dog Thelma and I miss her because she is in Italy with my mother, but I m sure she is better with my mum than with me, because my mother is cooking for her fresh meat every day:) I m able to talk italian, english, spanish, french and now after 2 years living here I can say that my turkish is not really bad....but still learning :-) I hope you to be my guest, and I will do my best to let you feel home!
