About This Listing

The peaceful, centuries-old German Hungarian village of Porva sits in the valley of the king's former hunting grounds, a snug retreat from which to explore the many wineries, mountain hikes, villages and ancient chapels of this mostly undiscovered region.

Contact Host

The "modern" house sits on the village Main Street, an addition to the 200-year-old house and barn behind it. All the houses were built close together along the village streets, as was the custom to protect land holdings behind the house.
