About this listing
Explore NYC from my quaint Boerum Hill neighborhood--beautiful brownstones, great food and very safe! 7 minutes into Manhattan and within blocks of 10 different trains, this 2 bedroom is a great home-base for your vacation.
My two bedroom apartment is filled with sunlight and always quiet (a rarity for NYC)
One bedroom has a full size bed, the other has a twin and there is a couch in the living room that is also quite comfortable for sleeping.
Interaction with Guests
I will not access the apartment or be interacting with guests, but will be available via phone or email with any questions.
Boerum Hill is a beautiful old neighborhood with big brownstones, young families and an artistic flair. Neighboring Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill have great restaurants and an exciting nightlife in the summers. The newly built Barclays Center (home of the Brooklyn Nets) is a great option for sports games or concerts. I'm also located just a short walk from both Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn botanical gardens, Brooklyn Museum, a great Saturday farmers market, Whole Foods, Trader Joes and one of the best antiquing strips in NYC on Atlantic avenue.
Atlantic Terminal B,D,N,Q,R,2,3,4,5 trains (5 blocks from apt)
Bergen St F,G (3 blocks from apt)
Hoyt Schermerhorn A,C,G (6 blocks from apt)
Nevins St 2,3,4,5 (8 blocks from apt)
Also near LIRR. Walking 3 blocks over to Smith St or 3 blocks up to Atlantic avenue will put you at a great place to hail a Taxi, and I'm quite close to both the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan bridge so cabs are quick into the city.
Other Things to Note
The dog in the photos will not be at the apartment during your stay, but I'd prefer that you don't come with a pet over 25lbs.
Please do not smoke in the apartment; there is a fire escape in one of the bedrooms or you can go outside.
Use coasters on wood tables.

She was really responsive on text, so that is the best way to reach her. We already were very familiar with the neighborhood, so additional information wasn't really necessary. Though, I'm sure she would have been helpful in that department if we needed it.
I booked Annie's apartment on behalf of 4 friends who were visiting from DC. The apartment was bright, clean and absolutely perfect for my friend's visit. In addition, Annie was an accommodating host. She was very flexible and even left a nice note when we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone visiting NYC.
We had a great stay at Annie's apartment. She's super easy to communicate with and made sure everything was okay - even hooked us up with a list of her fave local restaurants!
It's a cool place, it's got everything you need. Close to transport, laundry, shops and importantly, coffee! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.
Annie and her apartment are delightful. She was super accommodating and friendly, and she keeps a very cute, stylish, and clean space. It's also VERY quiet. I live nearby and rented the space to accommodate visiting family, and was surprised that I couldn't hear any street noise. I recommend it!

About the Host, Annie
Hi, I'm Annie! I am in my mid twenties, have lived in NYC for five years (by way of San Francisco, grew up in Connecticut), and share my apartment with my small, cute Pekingese. I work in the fashion industry, enjoy reading history and mythology, am happy to chat with strangers and try to cook as much as I can.
If you don't pee on the seat and always use a coaster, we will get along great!
