The neighborhood is a typical Kerala village having all the warmth of the Gods Own Country. The heart of town is just 5 km away and national high way approach within a kilometer. If you are religious, Christian church is only 100 meter away having daily service and there are two Hindu temples of Kali Devi and Lord Krishna within 2 KM distance. There is a mosque also within 2 km reach. If you love books Kollam Central Public Library is within 7 km and you will find many shopping malls, cinemas and restaurants all within 8 km reach. Kollam beach, light house, fishing harbor, houseboats and the new attraction of Jadayu Rock Amusement Park and the popular varkala beach are also within 20 km reach . Kollam is also famous for temples and the colourful festivals during summer. During Onam festival, boat race is one of the major attractions .
