Staying at Anastasia's was delightful. Our room was nice, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. She gave us recommendations for restaurants, pubs, and touring the city. We had towels and breakfast provided during our stay. I wish we could have met Anastasia, but her friend was kind and showed us the apartment. Also, it was great to have our own keys to lock the bedroom door, as other AirBnB'ers were using other rooms. Would highly recommend this location to anyone!
The location of this place is great, right in the heart of Temple bar.
The room was as pictured but quite a bit more dingy. I made the mistake of walking barefoot in the room and found that the carpets had not been vacuumed in quite some time. We also were not provided with a top sheet to cover our bodies while sleeping so we used towels instead, not the best night sleep by far!
The bathroom is very nice in the pictures but when we were there the walls were covered in mold. I understand it is in a damp environment, there was a dehumidifier in every room but the bathroom, but you can at least wipe the mold form the walls.
The worst part of our stay was after having a uncomfortable nights sleep I informed Anastasia of our issues and her response was "I hope that's just that you are confused". She did not apologize for the situation or do anything to resolve the issues.
We are very disappointed with our stay at Anastasia double room!! I would give this a 1 star but the price and location are worth something.
Arrival: Thanks to Anastasia's description, we parked our rental car in the car park "Fleet Street" nearby, which of course was quite expensive as Templebar is the trendy neighbourhood in Dublin.
Room: Although the doubleroom was small, it was practically furnished and clean. We lived in the appartment with 2 further parties and shared a bathroom and a kitchen (from 9am - 9pm) with them. Unfortunately, the window of our room showed into a backyard, where a really loud ventilation system was placed, too. This was so loud that we couldn't sleep and really disturbed us a lot (both when window closed or open).
Location: The location was great - nightlife and pubs of Dublin were only a stone's throw from there!
