Communication with Yaro is very clear and good. Yaro is very helpful and patient. We never met but via email, it was already easy to find her to be a very responsible and caring person. The apartment is as in the website. The shower and the WC are in separate cubicles. The decor is quite modern but with a nice Aztec/Bohemian charm. It got cold in the evening for the tropical soul that I am but the rooms are replete with heaters and that helped make the stay balmy and cosy. The kitchenette is equipped with induction coils and hood, electric kettle, cooking utensils, crockery as well as basic cooking needs like spices, condiments, butter, milk, cooking oil. Coffee and tea drinkers will be spoilt for choice with the array of roasts and teas to choose from. The apartment is at a mezzanine floor and so consider this if you have huge luggages to heft around. I had a 30-kg luggage and it was manageable for me, even though I am no gym head. The door to the apartment opens to the courtyard at the second floor. Bring your handphone or flashlight if you are checking in at night so that you can see your way to the door to unlock it. Once through, you will be blessed with a cosy apartment with a rewarding Czech charm. The neighbourhood is safe and is close to cable buses and to grocery shops, cafes, money changers, knick-knacks, ice-cream parlours, vintage shops selling pre-loved musical instruments, typewriters, etc. Tesco is nearby for your cooking needs. Be wary of dog poo on the sidewalks, though. There are many quaint corners and the famous apple strudel shop Susta Strudel at 29 Jeseniova is within 10-12 minutes' walk. Try their hot apple or custard filling strudels. Yum! The baker is a very shy and gentle man who hardly speaks any English. The apple strudel costs about 39 Czech crowns while custard is about 42. There is a poppy strudel which costs 49. The location of this apartment is good and is easy to get to the old town. Note that many shops are closed during the weekend in this area, though. Then, this will be the time when you go to the Charles Bridge area to soak in the touristy bits. I would certainly recommend this apartment if you have a family of three (two adults and a teen, perhaps). You will love it here.

We love this place! Nice vibe, great location, cool neighborhood, secure building, lots of charm and character. Thank you Yaro for being so accommodating with our travel schedule. It really has felt like a home away from home ;)

The flat is conveniently located right next to a popular tram stop that will take you to the city center really quickly. The neighborhood was great, too, as it is up-and-coming and had a lot of restaurants and a really incredible park with an amazing view up the street from it (definitely check it out!!! There is a small outdoor pub there too). There is a large grocery store up the street, but it is even even closer and easier buy your produce at the small grocery stores near the tram. I recommend checking out the restaurant Sklep, which is closeby. The pork chops have myself and my partner coming back to that area just to eat after we've checked out! Check out Bukowski's Pub as well, which is walking distance, it is one of my favorite bars so far in the Czech Republic. The flat has wi-fi, a hairdryer, iron, and clothing washing machine. The pans weren't the best to cook with because the Teflon was coming off of them, but everything else seemed to work well. The check-in and check-out with Iwet was easy and flexible and she was a really nice lady. I never met the host, but she responded promptly to my messages. We had to pay 1000 Czech Krowns cash upon arrival to the flat to Iwet and there was a relatively large cleaning fee, so be sure to factor that amount into your budget when looking at the listing price. Also, the listing price is in Euros, not dollars, according to my messages with Yaro, so also factor that into your budget. The place was somewhat dusty compared to the other Air B&Bs we've stayed at in Europe, but there was a good relaxed feeling to the place that felt authentic. I would recommend this spot to those who are staying long term because of the ease of transportation and the surplus of grocery stores and great restaurants and pubs. My partner and I enjoyed it.
