Amy was an amazing host. It was our first bnb experience and it could not have gone any smoother. Quiet neighborhood with trail to the river nearby. Cozy room, clean bathroom, and outdoor patio with lots of shade. Amy is so sweet and (website hidden) husband and I had great conversations with her full of laughter.
Amy and her home are very warm and welcoming! I had a lovely stay. I happened to come at a time when Amy needed to be busy elsewhere, but she still made time for me the first evening to make sure I felt at home. The bed and the house are very comfortable. Amy had suggestions for restaurants and places to see that were very helpful. (On that note, and as an aside to AirBnB, we both discovered that the AirBnB website did not make it possible for a guest to find the guidebook she so carefully prepared!)
All in all, this was a perfect place for me to stay! Thank you Amy!
I had the chance to spend one week at Amy's place. I feel that I came as a guest and left a friend. Her place was welcoming, very clean and 5 minutes from the location I was going every day for work. Her dog is just so sweet and friendly. I enjoyed sitting outside in her backyard, so relaxing! She had been always easy to reach. Amy is also a great ESL teacher, that was helpful for me since I have English as a second langage. I highly recommend her place!
I had a very pleasant stay with Amy Gleason. Her home is near the light rail, and although I did not have enough time to use it, still it was a great option. Amy is sociable but also gives you privacy. She provides a very complete breakfast to your requirements. She has a sweet and friendly dog named Bailey. She is just a great hostess, and will even share some wine if you have the same evening in together.
Amy is such a sweet, easy going person. My flight was delayed several times when arriving and she was very flexible with my schedule as well as my friends. She gives great suggestions about the area and provides a great, cozy space to rest. Her dog is also the sweetest. So grateful to have lucked out with Amy as a host.
Amy (and her pup) were incredibly welcoming. Her home is very warm as is Amy. She walked me through and made me feel very comfortable. Thanks Amy!
Hi -- I am Amy and I am a California transplant from Chicago, where I was born. I also lived in Grand Junction, CO. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and also visited Brazil. I was drawn to this site because of the cool, international flavor. I love meeting people from different cultures. I speak French and I am an ESL tutor. In addition to giving individual lessons, I also provide Business English tutoring in corporate settings. I would love to incorporate hosting and teaching ESL lessons for those who want an intensive English language experience.
My home is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. I am 1/4 mile from the American River bike trail, for those who enjoy cycling and walking/hiking. The Light Rail is within 1 walkable mile also, which can take you downtown or to other parts of the bike trail.
I have hosted foreign exchange students and was once une etudiante etrangere in France. I would be happy to show you around Sacramento and give back some of the hospitality that has been shared with me in my travels.
