Our unique, tranquil guest house on Catalina Island is the perfect romantic getaway. This modern, cozy 1BD/1BA includes a full kitchen w/dishwasher, living room, bedroom, bath, washer/dryer, central heat/air and view balcony. Golf cart included.

Just a short walk to beach and shops. Private and secure, just steps from the iconic Chimes Tower!

This detached guest house is adjacent to our home, 16 steps down. Enter at street level through private gate (by the Catalina Cactus Wall).

The space
The guest house is a cozy 484 sqft. Sliding glass doors open onto the balcony, giving you more space to relax and spread out while you enjoy nature and the views.

Other things to note
Your stay includes a golf cart for shopping and exploring the island. Before you receive the keys, we’ll go over the rules, city ordinances and an orientation if you’d like one. Golf carts typically rent for $65 to $80/hour, so this is a real perk and an enjoyable experience during your stay.

In addition, I'm usually available to pick you up at the boat (or helicopter) when you arrive and may even be available to give you a ride to the boat (or helicopter) at the end of your stay.

There is also a property pup, Willow. She's an all black Standard Schnauzer and turned one in June. She will poke her head through the railing to try to coerce you to give her a treat (provided in a box mounted on the railing). She knows how to sit and shake (high-five).

From the host

Our guest house is located off of Chimes Tower Road, right below the Zane Grey Pueblo Hotel. This area is private and tranquil, attracting local ravens, hummingbirds, deer and other native wildlife.

For a nice hike, head uphill on Hogsback Loop, a popular hiking or biking road only steps away. Or take a short downhill stroll to arrive at the beach, restaurants and shops.

Though my husband has been coming to Catalina since the 1960s, we arrived to live here in 2004. He chose this property to build our home, completed in 2017. In 2021, I became a wedding officiant and have had the pleasure of marrying dozens of couples. I wanted our guest house to be available when they return for anniversaries, or any reason! In 2026, we received our vacation rental permit and enjoy meeting visitors from all over!
