Welcome to the “Jewel of Downtown Bartlesville,” as listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This fully restored set of buildings is on the main street of downtown Bartlesville, Frank Phillips Boulevard. You enter through the historic Johnstone-Sare Building lobby, where some of the biggest oil deals in the history of the U.S. were struck and historic figures like Frank Phillips and J. Paul Getty had their first offices.

The space
A “little Austin” vibe permeates an artsy downtown with interesting restaurants and great architecture, including Frank Lloyd Wright and Taliesen Group structures, Chicago School structures, mid-century modern churches and Sullivanesque structures. The birthplace of The Petroleum Age is a glistening small city hidden on the wide prairie, awaiting your visit.

This 115 year old historic building was fully restored in 2015, and the apartments were added in 2017. Downtown Bartlesville is home to many popular local restaurants, beautiful floral shops, gorgeous courtyards, and shopping aplenty all within a few blocks. Just a short walk away from the JSB is the Pathfinder Parkway, a 12-mile trail system that runs throughout the city of Bartlesville along the Caney River and Turkey Creek connecting four of Bartlesville's parks.
