This is a COZY PRIVATE ROOM w/a SEPARATE ENTRANCE & a very COMFY QUEEN BED & Lofted XL TWIN BED + Private bath. You’ll have a SMART TV, NO CABLE, w/Over the Air Antenna, FAST WI-FI. This private room is attached to our home with a SHARED WALL, but you’ll be totally SEPARATE & PRIVATE from us & the rest of our home. Refrigerator, coffeemaker & microwave w/utensils, dishes & mugs. We are less than 1 MILE from OLD MESILLA, located on a PEACEFUL RESIDENTIAL CUL de SAC.

The space
Please note this is NOT a SEPARATE CASITA. We've remodeled our front bedroom to make it an en suite with a separate entrance and you'll find that we've tried to think of everything travelers need! The total space is 233 sq feet. There is a LOCKED DOOR ACCESS within the closet to our main living area - we use it to clean and service the room between guests. It is kept locked with a security bar.

The upper bunk is secured to wall studs with a 250 lb. weight capacity. No children under the age of 12. We have a foldable comfortable cot we could provide for someone under 12 with advance notice.

If you need something please reach out via the app and we will do our best to provide any toiletries/needs you may have. We offer water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate for breakfast drinks. For snacks, we offer bars and oatmeal. You will NOT have a FULL KITCHEN but you will have your own MICROWAVE, REFRIGERATOR, K-CUP COFFEE MAKER and utensils/plates, in the room for your convenience.

Our neighborhood is a quiet residential area very convenient to I10 & shopping with great restaurants. An ideal location for a layover while traveling I10. We are less than a mile to historic OLD MESILLA, less than 2 miles to NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY and 4 miles to BURRELL COLLEGE of Osteopathic Medicine. We are about 55 minutes to WHITE SANDS National Monument.

My wife, Angela and I live in Las Cruces New Mexico. We enjoy meeting new people and are avid AirBnB travelers. We have been hosting family and friends and have decided to open our home to the AirBnB community.

I am retired while my wife is pursuing a second career in the nursing field. We have three grown children and 5 grandchildren whom we don't see as much as we'd like to!

Angelina is a first generation Italian American and I am a native West Texan. We relocated to Las Cruces, NM in 2009 from Maryland. Angelina was born and raised in the northeastern U.S. Our primary language is English. Additionally, I speak fluent Spanish and Angelina speaks Italian. We enjoy meeting new people and have many friends we've made over the years from many parts of the country and world.

We used to make wine back east and have yet to figure out the best way to make it here in Cruces (as the locals call it). Still not used to not having a basement!
