Everything was absolutely perfect. We really felt at home. Julie made sure that we found the cottage and supplied everything (and more) that we needed. I can definitely recommend this accommodation.
Old Northeast Cottage was everything as described and more - super location - walking distance to many attractions, beautifully decorated, spotless and very cosy. Julie Kline is a warm and welcoming host throughout our stay and it felt so much like home we hated to leave !
Thank you for a great stay Julie.

The cottage is charming, furnished perfectly and very clean. It is a two story cottage with a bedroom on the second floor and the living room, bathroom and kitchenette on the first floor. The bedroom has a double bed (maybe a queen) and a separate twin bed as well. Julie thoughtfully provided some sodas and juices in the refrigerator, a hair dryer and make-up mirror, an umbrella, and some tourist brochures for St. Petersburg. I loved being able to walk to downtown St. Pete.
The cottage is beautifully decorated and immaculate, but the most impressive thing is the care with which Julie takes to provide a comfortable stay for her guests. She goes beyond renting a place to creating a maritime-themed home away from home. Julie is incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and detailed - she doesn't miss a thing. Her recommendations (food/activities/etc.) were spot on, and her instructions for everything were crystal clear. She even stocks up the fridge with free snacks and beverages, and the bathroom with free toiletries. My best Airbnb experience yet - will be hard to top!
We had a lovely time here - the location was great, a very short walk to downtown & the beach, and Julie made us feel very welcome, thanks to thoughtful arrangements - from the fresh fruits to a pair of umbrellas, in case it rains. ( Luckily we didn't have to use them! ) We had some issues connecting to the wifi, but Julie was super-responsive, and overall, made sure we had a great stay.
Our experience was lovely and we would certainly stay at this listing again.
On a word, fantastic. Julie's Guest House is perfectly appointed, comfy, and practical. A personalized sign greeted us at the Old NE neighborhood location. We walked or rode bikes to the Bay, The Pier, and to see relatives. After years of icky St. Pete lodgings, we have finally found the perfect getaway location.
I am a working professional that enjoys sharing my guest cottage with new friends. It is a such a joy to live in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood only a few blocks from a thriving downtown full of great restaurants, art destinations and an exciting nightlife.
