The Space

This is a comfortable guest house located in the charming Old Northeast neighborhood. You will enter the newly-renovated 1920's cottage through a shared, gated courtyard. The courtyard is a tropical outdoor living space with a beautiful sectional sofa and table / chairs for outdoor dining. As you enter the cottage through the french doors you will notice it is a cozy, clean and fresh space decorated in traditional 1920's styling with wood floors, subway tile and stained glass. The first floor has a fully-furnished living area complete with a kitchenette and full bathroom. The upstairs loft includes a queen bed and a twin bed for additional guests or a quiet space to read a book.

This space was built in 1920 for the original owner's Model-T Ford. As such, the cottage is a compact space, but well-planned for a comfortable stay. Both floors are approximately 220 square feet. The stairs to the loft bedroom are narrow and the ceiling is low in a portion of the upstairs loft.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, bottles of water, soda, starbucks coffee, microwave oven, refrigerator, blender, toaster, dishes, glasses, cutlery, corkscrew, can opener, paper towels, dishtowels and dish soap.

The bathroom is crisp and clean with hotel amenities including luxury linens, a hair dryer and bath products. An additional vanity area is located in the upstairs loft bedroom with a makeup mirror and electrical outlets.

Also provided are extra linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach bags, coolers, hair dryer and dvd player.

Guest Access

The cottage is next to the main house with both homes having french door access to the courtyard. The gate and outdoor courtyard will be private for your use during your stay. Parking is in the driveway in front of the cottage and is free.

Also available is secure wifi, cable TV and a Smart surround sound system.

A Laundromat and CVS is located two blocks from the cottage.

Interaction with Guests

I am at home when you visit and welcome conversation and any questions you may have for exploring the area.
