Interaction with Guests
My family and I live across the street from the studio, so I am available for questions during your stay. We have, however, set up the studio with a house key lock box and lots of local info to allow guests to feel immediately at home from the moment they arrive.
This is my favorite neighborhood in Bend! I have lived here all my life and this is where I have chosen to put down roots. I love the proximity to parks, the river, and the walkability to everything you need. I like being in the center of it all, but still being located in a quiet neighborhood.
This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Bend. The studio was once a woodworking shop and has now been transformed into a simple, contemporary oasis in the historic home. Please enjoy!!
The studio is located conveniently close to grocery stores, restaurants, trails, shopping...everything you need, you could walk to! Bend does not have an extensive public transit system, but by staying here, you won't need it.
Other Things to Note
This studio is small, but a lot of thought went into its planning. It is comfy and simple, but has all the amenities to make you feel at home. It is central and walking distance to everything you need. Kick back, relax and enjoy this gem!

The cottage was wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed it so much for Valentines weekend. Katie was quick to help with any questions, she is a great host. The cottage is very close to downtown, a very nice walk, and Katie left a map of her favorite places which we are excited to check out more of next time.
The studio was as described, neat and very clean. For me the location was perfect, especially as I did not have a car - very close to the shuttle to Mt Bachelor and walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants, the main part of town and a couple of breweries! The facilities are all good quality (now I think I need to buy a BBQ just like the one on the porch)
Katie was quick in responding to questions before I booked and especially so when the town's power was disrupted by a storm. She called the power company and and an electrician in (ona Saturday) to quickly resolve a problem that had nothing to do with the studio itself.
All up, a very good stay and as a first time Airbnb user, I could not have been happier.
Listing was totally accurate and space was great. Super easy in and out via the key box.
The place was great and had an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.
Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Convenient to everything, quiet friendly neighborhood but close enough to food/bars. The loft was spotless and had everything we needed. The quality of the linens and towels exceeded my expectations. The pullout was extremely comfortable. Katie and her family have thought of everything! Can't wait to go back.
A beautifully thought out and well planned cottage! Comfortable, great location and gorgeous - the photos don't quite do it justice. Highly recommended!
Katie made us feel very welcome, and everything about the loft space was just as described. She even sent us an email with an update on the new and improved furniture so we knew what to expect. The place was cozy, clean, and not too small. The welcome binder provided great information on restaurants that we used to guide our meals. The location of the loft is perfect for walking around downtown Bend. It was great to get out and about and not need to use our car! If we are ever in Bend again, we will stay here! Great experience.

I work as a chemistry professor at the college in Bend fall through spring, and guide cycling tours in the summer months. I love meeting new people and sharing my favorite spot with visitors!
