My family and I live across the street from the studio, so I am available for questions during your stay. We have, however, set up the studio with a house key lock box and lots of local info to allow guests to feel immediately at home from the moment they arrive.
This is my favorite neighborhood in Bend! I have lived here all my life and this is where I have chosen to put down roots. I love the proximity to parks, the river, and the walkability to everything you need. I like being in the center of it all, but still being located in a quiet neighborhood.
This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Bend. The studio was once a woodworking shop and has now been transformed into a simple, contemporary oasis in the historic home. Please enjoy!!
The studio is located conveniently close to grocery stores, restaurants, trails, shopping...everything you need, you could walk to! Bend does not have an extensive public transit system, but by staying here, you won't need it.
This studio is small, but a lot of thought went into its planning. It is comfy and simple, but has all the amenities to make you feel at home. It is central and walking distance to everything you need. Kick back, relax and enjoy this gem!

This is a wonderful unit. Katie has created a space, that despite is very small footprint, leaves nothing to be desired. Both beds are very comfortable (they are doubles though, as described in the description), the location is superb, the kitchen is well stocked, there is small radio to plug in your iphone/ipod, and the bathroom has a surplus of lovely towels (even a few specifically designated for mopping up any grime from your outdoor adventures.
Thank you Katie for the obvious time and energy your spend creating a quality rental.
Such a charming studio! Katie thought of every detail--gear storage, tea & coffee, iPod radio, even travel-sized toiletries. Had a very comfortable stay!
Great place to stay! Cozy and comfortable. Good coffee and the welcome binder was great for dining recommendations. There is even a map with locations of breweries, restaurants, and such.
Very cute and cozy place, perfect for two people. Really enjoyed the fact that it was close (walkable) to 10 Barrel, Brother Jon's, Good Life, Deschutes, waterfront trails, etc.
This little studio was super cute and Katie thought of all the details! Nice linens and great use of the space. Thank you!
What a lovely, cozy little studio! GREAT location- 15 min walk downtown and a 2 min walk to the Mt. Bachelor shuttle stop (major perks if you're a ski bum!). Really appreciated the warm details in this abode; everything from providing locally-roasted coffee to favorite eatery recommendations. We enjoyed ourselves SO much that we stayed another day!
Oh! And Katie was so sweet and accommodating with questions and promptly responded to email inquiries. She even introduced herself when we arrived and shoveled the fresh powder from our doorstep after a major snow dumping.
Really can't say enough about what a gem this place is!
The cutest studio loft was indeed a very rewarding experience. At first I wasn't too sure about getting these old bones up into that loft bed but it was fun indeed! What really sets this place apart is its location to the trail to Mill District, location to Old Town, and location to other cool places as well. On top of that Katie leaves an outstanding map with recommendations along with a notebook of useful information. It is well worth the stay.
Now with that being said, Katie needs to work on her snow dance. ha ha Dang mountains need snow! But then that is where her book came in handy since we found excellent places for lunch, breakfast, coffee, pastries, etc. etc. I think we ate more than we got to play.
Thanks again for being such a great host!

We had a fabulous stay. The place is small, which was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy with everything you need with, somehow, no clutter! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to do.
Nestled in a cute and quiet neighborhood just about the trails and the water. We will definitely be back!
Katie's place was the perfect base for our ski trip. Downtown Bend is only a walk away and there are some great places to sample the local beer and food even closer.
The studio has everything one could need and you can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into it. There was a folder full of all sorts of information regarding the local area, which was extremely helpful.
Communication was swift and Katie was very accommodating.
We really hope that we will be back in the not too distant future!
My husband and I like to come to Bend every winter to do a little snowshoeing. We've mostly stayed out towards Sisters and wanted something a little closer to things. We spent the MLK weekend (and my birthday!) here and we had a lovely time. This Studio Loft was perfect for our trip. We were able to access the snow parks easily, walking distance to great restaurants like 10 Barrel and the little pizza shop on the corner, and it was very clean and comfortable. The loft is complete with a small fridge and kitchen as well as many amenities. The shower is a little small (hard to shave your legs when you aren't getting your hair wet! :) but nothing worth complaining about at all! I highly recommend this for your Bend getaway.
