Hello! Welcome to my cool, serene, sweet space! It is centrally located in a long standing, socioeconomically diverse neighborhood with a lovely sense of community.
The studio is very close to so many venues that you never have to go too far to get to your destination!
If you are looking for a peaceful private place to unwind after a busy day, then look no further! Here you will find a cozy little hideaway, just for you! It is for couples or singles only. It is too small for families.

The space
The studio (mother-in-law suite) was added in the 1940s to my 1913 craftsman-style home. Please keep in mind that my little Airbnb is suitable for two people, that is couples only or single guests. There is only one bed. This is not a family type place. It is just not suited for that.
It has beautiful Douglas Fir floors and Redwood paneling. I love the corner windows that let in so much light from the west but also the north and south! Cool breezes always come through in the warm afternoons.
There is a private bathroom and a small kitchenette. There is a microwave, fridge, sink, coffeemaker, and a small space for light food preparation. Please do not bring any cooking apparatus as it is not set up for anything more. I have flatware, plates, cups, bowls, a cutting board, a sharp knife and bottle and can openers. A split unit is there to control the temperature. There is free WiFi and street parking. You can usually park right in front of my home!
I planted the garden in the back and it just keeps on growing! You are welcome to sit out there and the gazebo is a very pleasant place to relax. It is so peaceful and calm with the wind blowing through the palm fronds and hummingbirds flying about.

Guest access
I recommend having a car when visiting Los Angeles. Everything is so spread out. Our public transport is making improvements but it is still much slower than driving. Lyft and Uber are very accessible and affordable if driving is not your thing. :)
Free parking is easy on my block and my guests usually park right in front of my home. It is a very old street so it is unusually narrow. That means there is not a lot of through traffic.
My studio entrance is located in the backyard. Very private. Follow the path that leads from the front of my home all the way past the side of my home to the backyard. Once inside I think you will find that this space is very enjoyable. It really is calm and serene, and just feels good! The way it is set up, my guests have the back of the house and the backyard to themselves.

Other things to note
I am thoroughly committed to following guidelines established for our safety in place with Airbnb. Other than my dog, it is just me on the premises. I hope you will find everything you need in the studio.

Neighborhood highlights

I love my neighborhood in South LA! It is diverse, interesting, full of character that I love, as well as close to so many places. Culver City is right near by as well as Leimert Park. Minutes to USC Exposition Park, close to the airport, not far from Venice and Santa Monica beaches, Playa Del Rey, the new So-Fi stadium, the Forum, the Banc of California Stadium, the Staples Center and downtown for nightlife!
