I had a great time in Ennis at Lorraine's house. It was clean and comfortable. The house was easy to find and a short walk to Ennis. Nice comfy bed and good shower. Lorraine really was a wonderful host who made me feel at home and made my first few days in Ireland special. Thanks Lorraine!

The host was very nice and hospitable. Very helpful and kind. The descriptions are accurate. Good price, a nice, clean place and good size bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable. The woodstove is wonderful and 10 min walking distance to the town center ! Great town , many places to go and see. The people are all friendly.

Lorraine instantly made me feel welcome and comfortable. Her directions from the bus were great and a cup of tea when I arrived was much appreciated. She helped whenever I had questions and was calm and laid back to be around. Clearly she has a passion for her homeland and wants everyone to experience the best of it. Thankyou so much Lorraine!

Lorraine was an amazing host! Her homemade juice and sourdough bread were delicious and the room was warm and cozy. The location was an easy walk from town. She also recommended I change my trip and go to Dingle so I could cycle the coastal road to Slea Head - I did and she was absolutely right - it was stunning!

A lovely host.. we took a taxi from the bus as it was easier , once there we had no problem getting around. Lorraine was very accomodating and pleasant. She had lots of info for us.. the bedroom and ensuite were excellent and we slept like babies..we were even treated to homemade sourdough bread...her dog Hughie is a delight and the back garden was a treasure . Lorraine even gave us a lift to the bus. A lovely lady and we enjoyed our stay

I've just spent a week at Lorraine's cosy home in Ennis. I was warmly welcomed with a big smile from her, with a cup of herbal tea (from her garden), and by a happy waggely Hughie, her dog. The garden was very pleasant in the spring afternoon sunshine. My room was very spacious and very clean, with a comfy bed and a private bathroom en suite. But what made my stay so special was no doubt Lorraine's kindness. It didn't take long to see that she has a big heart. Conversation comes easy as she has many fields of interest, one of which being healthy nutrition and smart cooking! That takes me to what should not be missed while staying with Lorraine: her wonderful homemade-handmade sourdough organic bread for breakfast! I am looking forward to going back at Lorraine's home on my next visit to Ennis.

I have been living in County Clare for 16 years and I first moved here because its such a musical place. I love going to live gigs and try to see at least one each month - its a healthy addiction! I used to host winter acoustic gigs in my candle-lit living room - check out my Wordpress blog '3 bed semi presents' for details & photos of singers & musicians who have performed here.

The house is very chilled out and I'm on hand for any tips or help during your stay - whether its to do with getting around Clare or the west of Ireland or whatever.

I've rented the room out to more long-term lodgers over the past 8 years. I'm very well travelled myself having been to most of Europe, China, India, Vietnam, Namibia, North and South America including the Galapagos islands! So I'm well used to tourists and fellow travellers.
