This clean, quiet private bedroom that sleeps 2 is only 1 mile to the Convention Center & the heart of downtown. The neighborhood has breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, galleries & easy access to public transit and bike rental.
One room available in this awesome little two bedroom/one bathroom house located in Denver's vibrant Santa Fe Arts district, only 1 mile from the Convention Center. The space is clean and quiet and thoughtfully decorated. The comfortable Queen size memory foam mattress sleeps 2 people. Plenty of closet space for luggage and clothing for longer stays. I do live here full time so this isn't the best place for a romantic getaway or party weekend, but it is perfect for getting downtown, Convention Center or Performing Arts Center.

**Other things to consider**
I have two friendly cats. Please let me know an approximate itinerary/schedule for your visit so I can plan my schedule around yours to give you a more private, comfortable stay.
I recommend Uber or Lyft. Super Shuttle is approx $30 each way and this takes roughly an hour. Cab fares are about $60-70. Public transit is about $10-12 and will require a transfer downtown. Its the cheapest, but most time consuming way. I'm happy to provide more information on any of these transportation methods to ensure you are choosing the right option for your schedule and budget.
The front yard is currently under construction and I apologize that it does not look as nice as I'd like it to at the moment.
Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, front and back yards. I do live here full time so the common areas including the bathroom are shared.
Interaction with Guests
I love when guests feel like they have the house to themselves so I try to plan my own work schedule in a way that gives the guest the most peace and quiet during their stay.
I have been in this neighborhood for 6 years and love it more than ever. This is an urban neighborhood within the vibrant Santa Fe arts district. This is one of the two oldest neighborhoods in Denver and showcases beautiful old brick architecture with unique and colorful homes. The area is very diverse in race, age, religion, lifestyle and economic class. If you are looking for a cookie cutter, gated community where all the houses look the same, this is not the place for you. Personally I have always felt safe in this neighborhood even at night. People here are very friendly and usually say hi as they pass by.
This area is going through a revitalization which can be observed through various construction projects and new businesses along Santa Fe Drive.
The light rail can be picked up just a few blocks from here. It will take you directly downtown. There are two B-Cycle stations a couple of blocks from here if the weather is nice and you prefer a bike rental instead of the light rail or bus.
Other Things to Note
**For Fun: Craft Beer Trade**
I love drinking craft beer from other states. If you bring me a bottle from where you are from, I'll send you home with a bottle of Colorado craft beer. If you aren't a beer drinker, I'll send you home with some of Colorado's other great offerings, such as small batch chocolate, local honey or something hand crafted by Denver's creative community.
Pets not allowed (I already have two!). Smoking of any kind is permitted OUTSIDE only, including vapor pens. No guests allowed other than those stated in the original booking (ie: don't meet people during your visit and bring them to my house).
Jennie is very welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable from the first time you meet her. She is very organized and asks you right away if you need anything. The house is very clean and exactly as described. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom impeccably clean and the neighborhood very quiet. The area on Santa Fe (2 blocks away, very close) is fun with a lot of galleries and bars and a bus stop for easy access to downtown Denver. I highly recommend you stay with Jennie, she is a very nice young lady. By the way, she has 2 cute cats that are adorable and very friendly.
What a wonderful stay at Jennie's! She was a very warm and inviting host, the home was impeccably clean, and the stay was great especially if one needs to access downtown or the convention centre. I would most definitely suggest staying at her home.
Jennie is a great host and her place is exactly as you see in the photos. She was extremely flexible with my schedule and made me feel very comfortable staying in her house. The bed was super comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The location provided easy access to the places I needed to visit while in town. I appreciated her being so flexible and making me feel like a priority there. I would stay again and highly recommend you consider her place for a future stay.
This is one the best places we ever stayed with airbnb. Jennie is really a nice lady, the house is very welcoming, everything is clean, neat and cozy. The room is perfect for 2 people. She also has 2 lovely cats. Thank you Jennie for your kind advice.
What a wonderful first experience using Airbnb! Jennie was a lovely host - easy check in process with door code, leaving informative note upon arrival about amenities, sweet little touches like tea bags and postcards to send family, giving tips on best place to buy souvenirs (I Heart Denver), giving recommendations on local breweries. I couldn't have asked for a better host! And the home was so adorable and inviting! The bed is super comfy which is a plus! Street parking was easy. All in all, a perfect stay!
Jennie is an awesome host! Her place is very well located in a quiet residential neighborhood, walking distance from LoDo and other attractions. Her house is neat and very clean and is exactly as you see in the pictures. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of storage space in the room. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable, and even let me late checkout. She has two lovely cats (Whiskey and Nixy, you will know who is who) and provided lots of goodies and information about Colorado (and beers!!!). I would definitely stay with her again and would recommend it to anyone. It was a great BnB experience! Thank you Jennie!!
The house was very warm and welcoming. While Jennie and I never crossed paths in my quick visit to Denver, I did have the opportunity to spend some time with her very friendly cats. The house is walking distance to the convention center...I walked in the snow and ~10 degree temperature in just over 10 minutes (brisk!).
I love craft beer. I work full time for a local brewery. On the side, I run my own design business and get to work with some really fun clients. I travel whenever I can, wherever I can.
For fun I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, and practicing yoga. I focus on supporting local businesses and eating healthy. I'm a sunshine addict and I can be found outside on any day with sun and warm weather.
In the summer months I spend a lot of time in the garden doing everything I can to make my plants grow. In the winter I spend a lot of time in the kitchen making soup, cookies, bread and other delicious treats. On a snowy day I stay home, order Thai delivery and listen to the jazz station.
