The Space

One room available in this awesome little two bedroom/one bathroom house located in Denver's Santa Fe Arts district, only 1 mile from the Convention Center. The neighborhood is up and coming, making it unique, vibrant and diverse. The space is clean and quiet and thoughtfully decorated. The comfortable Queen size memory foam mattress sleeps 2 people (one bed). Plenty of closet space for luggage and clothing for longer stays. I do live here full time so this isn't the best place for a romantic getaway or party weekend, but it is perfect for getting to downtown, the Convention Center or the Performing Arts Center.

Check out time is 11am and check in begins at 2pm. If you need a late check out or early check in, please let me know so I can do my best to accommodate.

Either Patrick or Jennie will be there to host you, both are experienced Airbnb hosts! If gender is a deciding factor for you, please contact us ahead of time to see which of us will be there.

**Other things to consider**
Please let me know an approximate itinerary/schedule for your visit so I can plan my schedule around yours to give you a more private, comfortable stay.

**Getting here**
I recommend Uber or Lyft. Super Shuttle is approx $30 each way and this takes roughly an hour. Cab fares are about $60-70. Public transit is about $10-12 and will require a transfer downtown. Its the cheapest, but most time consuming way. I'm happy to provide more information on any of these transportation methods to ensure you are choosing the right option for your schedule and budget.

Please note:
The front yard is currently under construction and I apologize that it does not look as nice as I'd like it to at the moment.

Guest Access

Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, front and back yards. I do live here full time so the common areas including the bathroom are shared. Feel free to utilize the kitchen and any food in the fridge or pantry.

The Neighborhood

I have been in this neighborhood for 6 years and love it more than ever. This is an up and coming, urban neighborhood within the vibrant Santa Fe arts district. This is one of the two oldest neighborhoods in Denver and showcases beautiful old brick architecture with unique and colorful homes. The area is very diverse in race, age, religion, lifestyle and economic class. If you are looking for a cookie cutter, gated community where all the houses look the same, this is not the place for you. Personally I have always felt safe in this neighborhood even at night. People here are very friendly and usually say hi as they pass by.

This area is going through a revitalization which can be observed through various construction projects and new businesses along Santa Fe Drive.

Getting Around

The light rail can be picked up just a few blocks from here. It will take you directly downtown. There are two B-Cycle stations a couple of blocks from here if the weather is nice and you prefer a bike rental instead of the light rail or bus.

Other Things to Note

Cats have recently lived here, but do not currently. If you are highly allergic, this may not be the best place for you, however I have kept the house as free as possible from pet dander.
