One room available in this awesome little two bedroom/one bathroom house located in Denver's Santa Fe Arts district, only 1 mile from the Convention Center. The neighborhood is up and coming, making it unique, vibrant and diverse. The space is clean and quiet and thoughtfully decorated. The comfortable Queen size memory foam mattress sleeps 2 people (one bed). Plenty of closet space for luggage and clothing for longer stays. I do live here full time so this isn't the best place for a romantic getaway or party weekend, but it is perfect for getting to downtown, the Convention Center or the Performing Arts Center.

**Other things to consider**
I have two friendly cats. Please let me know an approximate itinerary/schedule for your visit so I can plan my schedule around yours to give you a more private, comfortable stay.
I recommend Uber or Lyft. Super Shuttle is approx $30 each way and this takes roughly an hour. Cab fares are about $60-70. Public transit is about $10-12 and will require a transfer downtown. Its the cheapest, but most time consuming way. I'm happy to provide more information on any of these transportation methods to ensure you are choosing the right option for your schedule and budget.
The front yard is currently under construction and I apologize that it does not look as nice as I'd like it to at the moment.
Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, front and back yards. I do live here full time so the common areas including the bathroom are shared. Feel free to utilize the kitchen and any food in the fridge or pantry.
Interaction with Guests
I love when guests feel like they have the house to themselves so I try to plan my own work schedule in a way that gives the guest the most peace and quiet during their stay.
I have been in this neighborhood for 6 years and love it more than ever. This is an up and coming, urban neighborhood within the vibrant Santa Fe arts district. This is one of the two oldest neighborhoods in Denver and showcases beautiful old brick architecture with unique and colorful homes. The area is very diverse in race, age, religion, lifestyle and economic class. If you are looking for a cookie cutter, gated community where all the houses look the same, this is not the place for you. Personally I have always felt safe in this neighborhood even at night. People here are very friendly and usually say hi as they pass by.
This area is going through a revitalization which can be observed through various construction projects and new businesses along Santa Fe Drive.
The light rail can be picked up just a few blocks from here. It will take you directly downtown. There are two B-Cycle stations a couple of blocks from here if the weather is nice and you prefer a bike rental instead of the light rail or bus.
Other Things to Note
**For Fun: Craft Beer Trade**
I love drinking craft beer from other states. If you bring me a bottle from where you are from, I'll send you home with a bottle of Colorado craft beer. If you aren't a beer drinker, I'll send you home with some of Colorado's other great offerings, such as small batch chocolate, local honey or something hand crafted by Denver's creative community.
Pets not allowed (I already have two!). Smoking of any kind is permitted OUTSIDE only, including vapor pens. No guests allowed other than those stated in the original booking (ie: don't meet people during your visit and bring them to my house).
Jennie'a home was as advertised. She made an impression right away with small gestures that made me feel at ease and comfortable. Although I was not there a lot except to sleep since I was busy at the University, I enjoyed myself immensely.
The city center is only a 15 minute walk. If your into coffee, the Molecule Effect a few blocks away was outstanding. For restaurants, Ophelia's was really good but make sure you get reservations.
Thank you again!
Jennie is a delightful host with a very nice place. She made me feel welcome. Her place is very convenient to downtown Denver and is very cool neighborhood.
My stay with Jennie was fabulous. She is a gracious host who was very respectful of my time and space. Her home is beautiful and very clean.
Nice house and two very friendly cats and best of all a great bed to lay my weary head on after a 7.5 hour drive from Aspen and before a 7am flight the next day. (I had a very short stay!)
Jennie was a wonderful host. My girlfriend and I were visiting Denver for the first time and Jennie was happy to introduce us to her house, neighborhood, and city she has grown to love. Jennie was both friendly and respectful of our privacy and independence. Her house is uniquely decorated, clean, easy to navigate. Jennie offered us free range of her home and amenities. Her house is in what is called the "Santa fe arts district", which is a bit mixed in terms of diversity of people living there and quality of homes. However it is a quick walk into downtown. I would recommend for a couple or single person looking to explore neighborhoods of Denver and get a feel for what it is like to live there day to day.
This was my first Airbnb experience and Jennie made me feel very welcome. She has a beautiful home, and gave me great advice on where to visit in the area. It was a very positive experience.
Jennie was a very gracious host with a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The house was immaculate and Jennie left out towels and the necessary essentials for me. There are several excellent coffee shops within a few blocks of the house as well as being central to nearly everything else there is to do in Denver. Her cats are very friendly and want to hang out all the time, especially the orange one. I highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again myself.
About the Host, Jennie
I love craft beer. I work full time for a local brewery. On the side, I run my own design business and get to work with some really fun clients. I travel whenever I can, wherever I can.
For fun I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, and practicing yoga. I focus on supporting local businesses and eating healthy. I'm a sunshine addict and I can be found outside on any day with sun and warm weather.
In the summer months I spend a lot of time in the garden doing everything I can to make my plants grow. In the winter I spend a lot of time in the kitchen making soup, cookies, bread and other delicious treats. On a snowy day I stay home, order Thai delivery and listen to the jazz station.
