One room available in this awesome little two bedroom/one bathroom house located in Denver's vibrant Santa Fe Arts district, only 1 mile from the Convention Center. The space is clean and quiet and thoughtfully decorated. The comfortable Queen size memory foam mattress sleeps 2 people. Plenty of closet space for luggage and clothing for longer stays. I do live here full time so this isn't the best place for a romantic getaway or party weekend, but it is perfect for getting downtown, Convention Center or Performing Arts Center.

**Other things to consider**
I have two friendly cats. Please let me know an approximate itinerary/schedule for your visit so I can plan my schedule around yours to give you a more private, comfortable stay.
I recommend Uber or Lyft. Super Shuttle is approx $30 each way and this takes roughly an hour. Cab fares are about $60-70. Public transit is about $10-12 and will require a transfer downtown. Its the cheapest, but most time consuming way. I'm happy to provide more information on any of these transportation methods to ensure you are choosing the right option for your schedule and budget.
The front yard is currently under construction and I apologize that it does not look as nice as I'd like it to at the moment.
Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, front and back yards. I do live here full time so the common areas including the bathroom are shared.
Interaction with Guests
I love when guests feel like they have the house to themselves so I try to plan my own work schedule in a way that gives the guest the most peace and quiet during their stay.
I have been in this neighborhood for 6 years and love it more than ever. This is an urban neighborhood within the vibrant Santa Fe arts district. This is one of the two oldest neighborhoods in Denver and showcases beautiful old brick architecture with unique and colorful homes. The area is very diverse in race, age, religion, lifestyle and economic class. If you are looking for a cookie cutter, gated community where all the houses look the same, this is not the place for you. Personally I have always felt safe in this neighborhood even at night. People here are very friendly and usually say hi as they pass by.
This area is going through a revitalization which can be observed through various construction projects and new businesses along Santa Fe Drive.
The light rail can be picked up just a few blocks from here. It will take you directly downtown. There are two B-Cycle stations a couple of blocks from here if the weather is nice and you prefer a bike rental instead of the light rail or bus.
Other Things to Note
**For Fun: Craft Beer Trade**
I love drinking craft beer from other states. If you bring me a bottle from where you are from, I'll send you home with a bottle of Colorado craft beer. If you aren't a beer drinker, I'll send you home with some of Colorado's other great offerings, such as small batch chocolate, local honey or something hand crafted by Denver's creative community.
Pets not allowed (I already have two!). Smoking of any kind is permitted OUTSIDE only, including vapor pens. No guests allowed other than those stated in the original booking (ie: don't meet people during your visit and bring them to my house).
Jennie was a fantastic host and I would recommend her place for anyone wanting somewhere close to Denver city centre and Convention Centre. The house is exactly as shown and Jennie has plenty of personal touches to make you feel at home. She also has two gorgeous cats who are just as welcoming. The room is very comfortable and Jennie went out of her way to make sure that I had everything I needed for my stay. It was an easy walk to the Convention Centre for me, but Jennie does have a parking pass for anyone with a car. I can't recommend Jennie highly enough as a host and would definitely stay here again!
I couldn't imagine a better Airbnb experience than the one we had staying at Jennie's place. She was super helpful leading up to our stay, and her place not only immaculate, but super comfortable and welcoming. It was only a few blocks from the Convention Center where we were attending a conference for the weekend, and it was incredibly convenient to walk back and forth. She had a parking pass for us to use so we didn't have to pay for parking on her street (or worry about getting towed)!
If you are traveling to Denver, and need to be anywhere near downtown, or anywhere along the interstate (her house is blocks away, with easy access anywhere north or south), we'd highly recommend staying at her place.
My friend and I had a great stay with Jennie. Her house is beautifully decorated and the neighborhood is close to everything anyone would need to get around the city without a car. The bed was also so comfy and warm, especially after some snowy days. Jennie was so welcoming and asked us if we needed anything. She even brought us a few craft beers to take home! I highly recommend it.
About the Host, Jennie
I love craft beer. I work full time for a local brewery. On the side, I run my own design business and get to work with some really fun clients. I travel whenever I can, wherever I can.
For fun I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, and practicing yoga. I focus on supporting local businesses and eating healthy. I'm a sunshine addict and I can be found outside on any day with sun and warm weather.
In the summer months I spend a lot of time in the garden doing everything I can to make my plants grow. In the winter I spend a lot of time in the kitchen making soup, cookies, bread and other delicious treats. On a snowy day I stay home, order Thai delivery and listen to the jazz station.
Honestly, Ive never been here. The oldest restaurant in Denver, featuring lots and lots of meat, some unique stuff, but can be spendy. If you cant stomach taxidermy, this aint the place for you.Osage Street Denver CO 80204
