Hilltop Hideaway Villa is in Mas the home of Balinese wood carving, 10 mins from Ubud, 1 hour from Denpasar airport. From the main Tegal Bingin road, follow our path by rice fields, up the steps and feel the peace and tranquility as you look across the breathtaking view of rural Bali from this grandstand position.
The Villas 3 bedrooms - 2 queen, 1 twin all with exotic Balinese en-suites - open onto a spacious verandah furnished with daybeds, tables and chairs. There is a safe in each room and a lockable cupboard for your cameras, laptops etc. We have free WiFi connection and a computer in the office. Our 10 X 8 m pool with it's infinity edge, shallow section for little ones and conversation ledge is - - - so good! The dining room, kitchen, toilet, laundry, office and staff's rooms is a separate building on the other side of the pool. Laundry service is also available.
Mini refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers are in each room.
Interaction with Guests
Our cook will provide guest's choices for breakfast and dinner and you are welcome to use the kitchen at any time. A large supermarket is a close drive away. Enjoy walking around Mas Village - watch wood carving - smell freshly cut timber - watch the farmers at work - join in local ceremonies. The amazing Mask and Puppet Museum is across the road.
Our neighbourhood is peaceful, quiet & safe to walk around and interact with friendly locals. As there are 3 rice crops a year, the view is ever changing, this with frequent colourful temple processions & incredible sunsets inspire photography & art.
Our friendly local drivers are only a phone call away and will take you exploring, shopping, dining etc. Their names & numbers are in each room.
Other Things to Note
Ubud with it's market, restaurants, shopping, galleries and cultural attractions is one of the many centres close by.
No smoking in the buildings please.
No glass around the pool - plastic drink ware is provided.
