Our bright and cozy apartment with balcony in the heart of Montparnasse and steps from Saint Germain-des-Près is ready to be your home-away-from-home in Paris. Perfect location to tour the City of Light by metro, bus, bike, or foot--with kids!
The space
Our apartment offers comfort and convenience plus views of the city from every room.
Our 75m2 apartment is situated on the 4th floor of a small Haussmannian building with elevator featuring a full wrap-around balcony overlooking Montparnasse. Totally sans vis-à-vis, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the city.
The double séjour features a dining table (can seat up to 8) and buffet; comfortable leather convertible sofa (140 cm bed, sleeps 2), fireplace, TV (French channels plus British satellite), Wifi, phone (free unlimited long-distance), and two doors opening to the balcony (table for two outside).
Master bedroom includes 160 cm bed, computer desk, walk-in closet, fireplace, two doors opening to balcony, and chevron floors.
Children's room has bunkbeds (additional trundle bed or portable crib available upon request), closet, toys, books, and fireplace.
Kitchen fully equipped with fridge/freezer, induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, dining service for 12, and cooking/baking supplies.
Bathroom has a small tub and shower, washing machine, and separate clothes dryer. WC is separate.

We do have a dog (an adorable cocker spaniel) but she will not be at the apartment during your stay. If there are pet allergies, this may not be the place for you as traces of her fur may be in the apartment.
This is a city apartment in a very busy area so you can expect a certain amount of noise associated with city (and apartment) living. Our windows are double-glazed so the apartment stays quite quiet when the windows are closed. If you are especially sensitive to noise, we have a white noise "sound machine" available.

We picked Montparnasse as our forever Paris home because we love this quartier: historic, artsy, convenient, and in the middle of everything the Left Bank has to offer--Charm and convenience!
We are located at the intersection of four Left Bank arrondissements: the 6th, 7th, 14th, and 15th. You will be an easy walk (or ride) to many of the Left Bank favorites including the Eiffel Tower, the Jardin du Luxembourg, Saint-Germain-des-Près, Invalides, The Catacombs, Le Bon Marché, and Musée Rodin. Lots of other hidden gems throughout the quarter!
Amazing area for shopping with the mythical streets rue de Rennes and rue du Cherche-Midi less than a 5-minute walk away; Le Bon Marché/La Grande Epicerie is an easy 10-minute walk as well.
Foodies will love our neighborhood full of wonderful diverse restaurants (many kid-friendly!) and specialty food shops, plus three classically Parisian outdoor markets (Edgar Quinet 5 minutes and the Raspail or Saxe-Breteuil markets 10 minutes away).
Grocery stores (huge Monoprix, Carrefour City, two Franprix, and a Casino) within 5-minutes.
Boulangeries, butchers, fromageries, chocolate shops galore!
