Piti palena Lodge is located 10 min by boat from Raul Marin Balmaceda, the arrival time must be coordinated to get the guest to the Lodge at no cost to him. We have half-day or full-day boat rides, kayak rides, rowing or motor boat rides, native forest trekking, waterfall walks, and more.

The space
We offer a serene and secluded guesthouse in the heart of the Piti Palena estuary with a large bedroom and en-suite bath (sleeps 6 with a king bed and 4 twin beds). The house is a short 10 minute boat ride from the Raul Marin Balmaceda dock. The guesthouse shares a large common room and kitchen with panoramic views of the mountains, water and wildlife. Guests enjoy relaxing with friends and family, playing board games, cooking and disconnecting. Once you let us know your arrival time, we will meet you at the dock and transport you to the guesthouse by boat. The lodge is peaceful with birds and swimming penguins, seals in the cove, and occasional dolphins. You are free to take the kayaks out to explore nearby coves, fish from the balcony, and we can arrange trips to see wildlife nearby.
To get here, take route 12 towards Raul Marin Balmaceda. About 70 km onto the road, you will reach a quick free ferry that crosses 6 cars at a time towards Raul Marin Balmaceda. The ferry runs continuously from 8:30 to 13:00 and again from 16:00 to 21:00. After the ferry, continue about 10 km to the Raul Marin Balmaceda dock (you’ll see a sign for Muelle – the dock).
