About This Listing
** JULY Special ** Take it home with your own spacious B.B. King-themed bedroom done up all in blues, of course :) Plus, we've got wifi, on-site parking and homemade treats!
Come let the good times roll in my brand-new BNB less than a mile from legendary Sun Studio!
We hope you'll enjoy our 3200-square-foot mansion for music lovers - equipped with two bathrooms, four bedrooms, an enormous kitchen, a miniature ballroom...and a porch just perfect for sitting and strumming a guitar :)
Did I mention we've got our very own parking lot, too?
Like an unfinished symphony, the place is still in progress, mind you - we could use lots of suggestions and ideas for making it into a true paradise for the phonically-inclined!
But we promise to treat you like a VIP while you're here...because you are one, to us :) Expect a fresh-made breakfast and freshly-laundered sheets, for starters, and nonstop Southern hospitality through-and-through: we'll give you tons of pointers on the coolest places to visit and the juiciest BBQ around.

Interaction with Guests
I live on-site and would love to be there to greet you and guide you in your stay, when I'm not off at my community garden nearby!
The neighborhood can be hard to find, for some, but we think it's a total gem - not downtown proper, so parking is a cinch, but within walking distance of most of the epic sites like Sun Studio and Stax. The street is quiet and surrounded by local nonprofits like the Memphis Interfaith Association and the Memphis Food Bank. We'd love to do a voluntour, if you're interested in giving back while you're here!
We know you're going places and we love to help you get around! We've got tons of on-site parking for the drivers out there. If you're on foot, the house is within a few blocks of eight different bus lines, 1.5 miles from downtown, 0.4 miles from the trolley and just a short ways to catch the free shuttle to Graceland from Sun Studio! We also highly recommend Lyft, which just rolled out in Memphis :)
Other Things to Note
PLEASE, oh please bear with us, as I just moved into this place and it’s over 100 YEARS OLD. My wonderful friend Andy is my partner in crime as an innkeeper, and we're still getting the hang of things. He's got an adorable dog, Bentley who might come visit, as well. One day we hope to turn the house into a nonprofit center, so any support you give us gets us closer to changing this city for the better!
Smoking is completely cool outside on our spacious front porch and pets are allowed, as long as they're cuddly and you clean up after them if they have accidents ^_~
Todo OK. No he visto a Katie, pero he tenido buena comunicación y se ha mostrado siempre dispuesta. Muy recomendable.
Our host was present and friendly, had a lot of good things to say and had spot on suggestions for sights and tips around the city whether it be food or blues or museums. The house was old and run down but everything works and is comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. The neighborhood appeared sketchy at first but we had no problems even when we came home around 1 am. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Choo the dog was sweet and playful, Jamie the host exudes warmth and love, wish we had more time to chat. nothing to improve. We came home late after a night in Beale Street and had to wake her up (so sorry!) because I couldn't find our room key. She was available and ready to solve the problem. We were also lucky that the other guests were friendly and fun!
Jamie was an excellent, welcoming host. We really loved the Bn'b. She's done an incredible job turning around an old mansion into a really interesting and cozy place. On the night we were in town, there were a number of folks visiting from various places around the world. It was wonderful to meet them. Great place, great location, wonderful host.
We had a great stay in the BB King room, the room was even bigger then on the picture, it was clean the bed was great and you had 2 Bathrooms in the house so we never really had to wait to use them. We only met Jamie when we checked in but she was very welcoming showing us around with her sweet puppy and with the notes everywhere in the house with positive sayings you can feel jamie her love and positive attitude everywhere. We would definitly recommend others too stay here since the house, the room and Jamie's breakfast is amazing, we would however recommend not to walk around this area at night but take your car or a taxi since the area is seen as a poor neighboorhood, however during the day it is fine too walk around.

About the Host, Jamie
I once sat on a poisonous caterpillar. So if you are a poisonous caterpillar, I'd watch yourself around me. Otherwise, I'm a big goof and love to fuss over people :)
