There is a reading corner in the cottage located just next to the open fire to really give it that cosy feel. Outside there is a stream boarded courtyard with a sitting out area. The local pub is within easy walking distance of the cottage.
Located just off the moorland, there are some delightful walks from the cottage into the surrounding countryside. A short car journey will take you right into the heart of Dartmoor National Park. The cottage is located about 4 miles from Tavistock and 9 miles from Plymouth, which both offer a good range of shops and attractions. Local attractions include Buckland Abbey National Trust, home of Sir Francis Drake and The Garden House in nearby Crapstone. Golf can be found just around the corner, whilst walking, cycling, horse riding and fishing can also be enjoyed within magnificent scenery. The south Devon coast is less than an hour away. Shop 3 miles, pub 100 yards, restaurant 2 miles.
