The space

The name says it all: this apartment is very sunny, quite big and simply furnished but beautiful. It is located right between two of Prague's most beautiful parks, Letna and Stromovka, the kings hunting range, ideal place for a day of rest after sightseeing. This is a fashionable lively area full of bars, restaurants and clubs. There is a noodle bar on the other side of the street, great bar just few doors down the street and a supermarket around the corner. The Prague Castle and the Old Town are about 20 minutes walk. If you are not up for walking, the tram stop is 2 minutes away and then just 10 minutes ride and you're in the center of Prague, Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge or Lesser Town, everything worth visiting.
The apartment is spacious, and very sunny with a view from the 5th floor. (with elevator) The building and the apartment were recently renovated. The apartment is fully furnished, has equipped kitchen with oven and a dishwasher, so you can comfortably prepare your dishes or snack and the bathroom has a tub. We have just changed all the floors to hardwood, made of vintage parquet. 5 to 6 people plus one or two small kids can stay there very comfortably. We have recently installed roll down curtains for our guests to enjoy longer sleep even in sunny mornings. The mattresses in the bedroom are new, offering even more comfortable sleep.
If you have any further questions, feel free to write to us, we will be very happy to help you.
We provide recommendation list of places we like in Prague such as non touristy but interesting places, restaurants, cafes and shops. We also offer airport pick up for E 25.
A grocery shopping can be arranged and it will wait for you when you arrive.
Bookings for only 2 nights might be subject to a higher rate.

Guest access

All the apartment, including the storage, where luggage can be put during the stay.

Interaction with guests

We like to offer to our guests introduction to the city, explain where to find what in the neighbourhood and point places out on the map we provide. We live around the corner and if guests are up to it, we like to invite them over for a drink and chat. We are usually present and are ready to help. If we happen to be on vacation, we have always a contact person nearby.

The neighborhood

This is a very nice residential area close to two parks, but does not lack places to hang out like nice restaurants, coffee places and bars. Also some of the best museums are around. The supermarket is around the corner and so is the great DM drugstore. One of our favourite places to enjoy a great cake is Erhartova cukrarna, great patisserie, which is located in the same block as our apartment.

Getting around

The city centre is within walking distance, it is actually a very nice walk thru the park down the hill with a view and across the bridge. By public transportation it is 4 stops by a direct tram to the edge of the old town. The tram stop is located around the corner from the apartment, next to the supermarket.

Other things to note

We did it! We learned from our reviews and added a shower division so our guests can now take a shower without getting the whole bathroom wet. We will update the picture soon.
We try to be as flexible as possibile with our check-in. As long as it is agreed upon, anytime until 23:00 is fine with us. We charge 20 EURO for late check-in after 23:00.

Great apartment in a perfect location almost in the city center. Idan and Marta are very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend to stay at their place.

During the check-in process, Idan took the time to recommend us to restaurants, bars, and nightlife on a free map that he provided. The Apartment was very clean upon arrival and had enough room to fit all 7 of us! However, one of my friends is over 6 feet tall and his feet hung off the bed haha~ He still snored away into the night so it was not a big deal.

I rented this flat for my family (5 people) who came to Prague for a visit. I was more then satisfied with communication with Marta (quick response and helpfulness). The flat is as described and advertised on pictures - big, sunny, calm, clean, cozy, very well equipped for short or longer stay (my family had a feeling of being at home through whole stay). If you like combination of antique and modern furniture with nice small details around, you will love this place. The location and neighborhood are good - 3 mins walk to big supermarket and tram stop to the center. And if you like walking, it takes 20-30 mins to the city center. Definitely my recommendation for families or groups of friends.

Marta and Idan's appartment was great and perfect for me and my 6 friends. It is really comfortable if you don't mind to sleep in dormitories. Marta welcomed us and was very helpful and clear about the flat and the neighbourhood, she gave us great tips and addresses in Prague. They even walked by to give us paper towel and toilet paper, bought an iron when we asked and also came to check on the plumbing. The appartment was sunny, the kitchen had all we needed and you can eat around the table even if you're seven or more. Beds are comfortable and everybody slept well, but there's light in the room because you can't totally shut the stores. The neighbourhood is lovely and there are a lot of little bars and cafés around. However, it's a little bit far from the city centre (20 min walking) but it's really nice if you don't mind walking (you also have a lot of tram lines nearby, just at the corner). You have to go through Letnà park to reach the downtown, which is beautiful and from which you have a breathtaking view over all the city! In summertime there are also events in the park with music, food and drinks for young people mostly. If you want to party a lot Letnà isn't really the part of the city where you should go, bars are in the city centre and neighbours here don't like noise! Museum of modern art is just 5 minutes walking and it's really worth seeing (free for students). There's a supermarket around the corner. Thank you Idan and Marta for a great week!

Me and my wife live in Prague. We are a creative family, both freelancers and we have two small children. We rent few apartments to tourists, friends and other visitors to help us with the household expenses. We enjoy having guests over and show and advice them how to get the best of Prague! We love cinema, architecture and design, skiing, upcycle design and good food and coffee.
