My newly renovated apartment is on a main avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. It has lots of sunlight, picturesque views of Brooklyn, shopping nearby, & is right next to the C train, taking you to lower Manhattan in 15 minutes.

The space

My apartment is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the fourth floor of a newly built building. It's located on one of the main avenues of central Brooklyn, surrounded by many different shops and restaurants. It is right next to a major subway line (the C train), as well as several buses.

The guest bed is 47x79 inches (120x200cm) and comfortably sleeps two. The room has plenty of closet space and sunlight, a desk, chair, and lamp. There is central heating during the winter and window A/C units during the summer.

You're more than welcome to use my fully equipped kitchen to make your own meals. Feel free to help yourself to breakfast in the mornings. There is usually bread, cereal, and juice, along with coffee and tea.

Guest access

Guests will receive their own set of keys upon arrival. You will have access to:
-High speed WiFi
-A printer
-Free parking
-A hair dryer
-The main living room
-A fully equipped kitchen
-Bathroom with bathtub and shower
-Clean towels and hypoallergenic, organic cotton bed linens
-Maps, NY guide books, and recommendations
-Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel
-Iron and ironing board
-French press and espresso machine
-Coffee, tea, breakfast foods, and cooking supplies like olive oil, salt, and pepper

Interaction with guests

The apartment layout allows guests as much privacy as they would like.

My work schedule varies from week to week. I'm a freelance musician, teacher, and audio engineer - I'm usually out working, but occasionally work from home on both weekdays and weekends.

I'm always available via text message or phone if you need something.

I enjoy having travelers in my home and love getting to know guests when the opportunity arises.

Other things to note

There is no elevator. If you are concerned about carrying your luggage up or down the stairs (there are three flights), we're more than happy to help - we have lots of practice. :)

The apartment was great! Super clean and with everything in the add. The location is perfect, just next to a subway station. We didn't meet with Summer, but her friend helped us with everything. We recommend it 100%.

Apartment was easy to find and was a short walk away from the subway. Umbrellas were provided, as well as painkillers, guidebooks, and shower essentials, which was highly appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer's place, and the apartment matches the description. Summer was extremely helpful throughout, offering advice, and arranging a smooth check-in despite being out of town. The apartment building is right next to a subway station, making travelling into Manhattan very convenient. We travelled to NYC by car, and with Summer's advice we had no trouble parking. Towels, toiletries and breakfast are provided, allowing us to save money and leaving more time for sight-seeing! The only (very minor!) downsides are that the apartment is small, and that it gets very warm in the summer heat. However, there is AC, so we were able to get to sleep. I would stress that these points are not specific to Summer's place, and we were not misled by the description - that's just New York for you. Overall, we would strongly recommend Summer's place, and would be happy to stay again.

We had a very good experience in Summer's house. She is a very welcoming and nice person who makes you feel like at home. We had some days a very warm time in there but that was NY fault :). She left a very good guide of what to do and nice NY tips in our room, as well as all the indications for her house, I really appreciate this, as for me, the arriving to a new airbnb home should be very clear. We arrived very late and she was waiting for us with a smile :) thanks Summer and please let we know if you come one day to Valencia!

Summer is a very friendly and nice host. Her place is such clean and comfortable. The location just next to the subway and very convenient. Although there are noisy on the street of this neighborhood at night, but still highly recommended to stay here in NY.
