This beautiful rustic dome house is located near the heart of Woodinville, Wa and just a short drive from Seattle. Surrounded by beautiful wooded forest, you, your family and friends, are sure to find all of the privacy you could ask for. We are here to help accommodate your stay! Please note, we are only booking family, or close friend groups that are making efforts to follow covid protocol, we all need to exhibit thoughtful behavior in an effort to stop the madness.. the open space helps!

The space
Entering the dome, you will find the dining room and kitchen beneath high vaulted ceilings. On the first floor, you will have a master bedroom with an in-suite bathroom, as well as a bunk room that can sleep six. The bunk room includes four bunk beds, as well as a double Murphy bed, and curtains on the bunks allow for privacy within. There is a full bathroom on the first floor as well. The hallmark of the dome is the great room which you will find upstairs, (geometry class was never this fun!) offering multiple sitting arrangements and activities, including a theater style projector/screen, and sound system... SO, bring your laptop/movie watching/dongle device,(we have hi-speed fiber optic internet) and a grand piano with 2 bad keys.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow open invite parties! Any plans you have for your stay MUST be accepted and planned through me!! If I get any indication there is an unauthorized event being planned, I will be forced to shut it down! I will turn off the power to the place! you will have to leave, and you will lose your rent/deposit! I know this is not an issue for most folks who rent! so please understand that I have been screwed too many times! NO SURPRISES AND WE WILL BE FINE! Outdoor accommodations include a serene Koi pond for your pondering,(say hi to the fish!) basketball hoop, a small cold pool, and a regular hot tub with covered patio, plenty of outdoor lounge space, a large grass lawn for croquet. If that isn't enough, we have trails through the woods, a lovely Ant hill, and rustic sculpture park in the upper pasture.. with any luck, you will find plenty to enjoy! you will probably need to stay for 2 days to do it all.. there is good tent and camper space too

I am a happy, creative craftsmen type. I love listening to and making music, working the grounds, and tending to architectural garden space. I am thoroughly enjoying creating this lovely 3 acre oasis. It's been a nice challenge building playful and extravagant architectures, while maintaining a "humble luxury" .. the grounds allow us to integrate with nature! The property sits on a 50 foot deep artesian well, has 2 self-contained septic drain field systems, and maximizes its solar potential pulling over 9,000 kwh on a sunny day.. we're nearly self-sufficient, "Off the Grid" having a small environmental impact feels really good!! I have acquired a passion for creating a beautiful happy retreat space for your vacation or event, in the hub of Seattle East side wine country!
