The house is lovely. Time seems to slow down there, and the country takes your full attention. We met all sorts of interesting people during or stay there, which was certainly a highlight.

This is a no nonsense horse riding establishment in a small village over the hills from Chianti. It was the perfect location to take part in the Eroica cycling event at Gaiole, and doing the climb to Nusenni from Rendola, about 10kms, much of it 12.5%, is perfect preparation for the event. Staying here was a pleasant surprise find in unruined Tuscany. It is unfussy in the best sense, so if you like all the trimmings it is probably not for you. But a straightforward place run by someone knowledgeable and interesting on this area of Italy it is a godsend.

Jenny was absolutely charming and the experience at Rendola riding wonderful all round. There was peace and quiet in the evening , and a glorious breakfast to start the day off with. Recommended to those seeking a genuine Tuscan getaway.

Rendola riding was a beautiful experience. I was there for a week and during my stay was able to do horse riding, a trip to Florence, Siena, and walk to various locations amidst the beautiful hills and vineyards. The accommodation was stunning, and homely, and Jenny was a great cook! I would recommend this stay again and again. Grazie Jenny and Nicholas! Xo

Had a wonderful stay on this Tuscan farm! The house was full with young girls on a riding camp so my girlfriend and I got upgraded to the little cottage outside. The space was welcoming and well kept with everything you could need. We were greeted by Jenny, Nicholas's mother, who is a busy English lady but she made sure we were well looked after and the chef even made me a vegetarian meal. Breakfast is included but lunch and dinner are extra, worth it if you don't want to venture far. If you want to get out and about I suggest a car but there is a wonderful small town Mercatale a 30min walk away, a great way to see the countryside and people or just get a gelato! I would definitely recommend a stay here, slightly off the beaten track and well worth it!

Me and my friend really enjoyed our time we have spend here. We had our own little chalet with a private bathroom and a lot of privacy. The view from the window was amazing! I loved being surrounded by nature and horses. Unfortunately I had only the time to take one lesson but I just loved it! My teacher was great! Jenny is a wonderful host and her staff is really friendly.. Jenny was always ready to help you out, give you advice about what is interesting to visit in the surrounding places like Arezzo, Sienna etc.. and she prepared us summaries and maps to be good prepared. She has a lot of books to prepare your visits. Jenny and her staff made us feel like home and we shared some meals together with the other guests. We were like a big family together. We met great people from Germany (Uli and his family) and also Leonardo who played us some songs on his guitar (Vasco ;)). I enjoyed all of it.. I definitely would advice everyone to stay here..
