Serenity at 8,000 feet with Pine and Aspen trees. Address is Littleton, but it's part of the Conifer mountain community. The Chalet is a private quarters above our garage with a separate deck and entrance. We also host elopements and micro-weddings! Overlook mountains to the west and the Denver to the east. Hot tub is on the back deck of main house and overlooks city lights! Groceries, dining and hiking trails only 15 minutes away. There is no A/C. 4WD vehicles are required October - April.
The space
We live in a quiet mountain community on 40 secluded acres with beautiful views in all directions. The Chalet is a private get-away yet with an amazing display of Denver city lights. The home is surrounded by trees and a meadow with views of mountains to the west. Even though our family lives full-time in the main house, we give guests complete privacy. Yet, we are readily available if you have questions. We required (non-negotiable) 4WD vehicles October-April. You will not be able to access the Chalet without one. Please watch the Conifer (not Littleton) forecast. Let us know if you are interested in learning about elopement accommodations or having a micro-wedding on the property!
Guest access
Entire Chalet and back deck is accessible to our guests. Hot tub is on main house back deck (semi-private). Use of laundry (washer and dryer) is in our main house and available for those who have an extended stay. We can also assist with where to hike on the property.
Other things to note
The Chalet is off of a dirt road with steep inclines. We require all guests have quality tires and an AWD/4WD October-April. Because this is a safety issue, we do not make exceptions. Hazardous snow conditions can hit us hard without much warning, we want everyone to be equipped in order to be safe. Guests who do not have a 4WD and need to be towed out of the ditch will be charged $150.00.

Neighborhood highlights
We live in a mountain community where houses are pretty spread out. It is very quiet and peaceful here. Great star gazing, and the views of the west and Denver city lights are spectacular!

My work: Keith is a wedding celebrant, officiating about 75 weddings each year. Aleah is a consultant who helps executives lead healthy organizations.
We are originally from Michigan and moved out west to Colorado 20 years ago to start our family. We love mountain living as it allows us beautiful views, the hard work of cutting enough fire wood in the fall to heat the whole house, to shoveling snow in the winter, and enjoying happy hour on our back deck with the hummingbirds during the summer. We also get the cultural benefits of being so close to an urban city.
