Welcome to our 1970 GMC Ward School bus!
Come check out this funky, cozy spot, it's got everything you need; queen sized bed, kitchen, fridge, sink, woodstove, dining space for two, Arctic entry/mud room, fire pit, your own private outhouse
Help yourself to blueberries, cranberries in the yard, play bocce ball, croquet, or other yard games.
Our bus is located on its own property in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by boreal forest, 3 miles from the village of Talkeetna.

The space
Our bus is fun and funky, it’s not fancy! If you need to be catered to and taken care of, don’t stay here. If you’re looking for fancy, don’t stay here. There are hotels in the area that will cater to you.
If you want to see how a bus destined for the crusher has been converted into a cozy, warm, comfortable space, stay here! If you’re up for the real Alaskan lifestyle of no running water, (lucky you, we haul the water for you) using an outhouse, depending on a woodstove, stay here!
If you’re unsure if this is the place for you, feel free to ask us any questions.

During your stay

The bus is a good fit for the independent traveller. We may be nearby to assist you, but there’s a good chance that we will be away adventuring!
If we are here, we will try and stop in to say hello, if not we will check on you via text or phone call.
